Report Suggests AAA Wrestlers Are Being Scanned for WWE 2K26

More teases suggest a future collab.

Is Triplemania finally making its way to the WWE 2K games series? It does look like AAA wrestlers will make their debut in WWE 2K26, as reported by content creator SmackTalks. AAA star El Hijo del Vikingo was spotted inside a scanning booth in a promotional video for the mobile game WWE SuperCard.

Previously, we covered another potential AAA tease courtesy of Adrian Butler. He posted a picture alongside his fellow AAA referees, referencing WWE 2K26 in the post, which also shows a WWE 2K26 logo. By this point, this is starting to become pretty much an open secret. It’s been a long time coming, but it looks like we’re finally venturing outside the main WWE umbrella.

Finally, Lucha Libre Representation

If all these teasers, reports, and rumors are to be believed, this is a big win for WWE 2K26. The games have felt quite stale for a while now, and that’s largely because we are all too familiar with the animations, the roster, and even how the modes work. The high-flying style has never been the best in WWE games, as the animations never feel smooth and the moves are a bit harder to set up.

Hopefully, introducing AAA talent doesn’t just add new names; it introduces a completely different style of play. Speculation is running rampant on what these integrations could look like. Some people are hoping for a dedicated MyRise chapter where the player can travel to Mexico City and possibly compete in the iconic Triplemania arena. We can hope it’s not just another DLC pack with a total of three AAA wrestlers. That would certainly hamper the mood quite a bit.

On another note, the fact that we’re seeing so much buzz about AAA and none for TNA confirms that the appearance of TNA wrestlers is unlikely. Of course, things could change, but WWE is essentially the parent company of AAA, which is why the inclusion there is a simpler order. Still, the 2025 talent crossover was a big hit, so maybe there is a chance that the Hardys and Joe Hendry show up as DLC.
