Pokémon Champions allows both experienced and still green trainers to get a wide array of items, going from battle-focused picks like most of the franchise’s Mega Stones to the game-changing Affinity Tickets.
But is the latter even worth the title? And more importantly, how can you farm them? Here’s a full overview of how Affinity Tickets work in Pokémon Champions, as well as how to use and get them.

What Affinity Tickets Are and How to Use Them In Pokémon Champions
Pokémon Champions players can use Affinity Tickets to improve the chances of finding Pokémon of set types during a Recruitment. For example, using the Ice-Type Affinity Ticket will boost your chances of getting Ice Pokémon, while the Fairy variant will make you more likely to find picks like Clefable, Floette, Sylveon, and the like amidst your selection. You can also use them for Shiny hunting, as higher chances also mean higher odds. You can check out a step-by-step guide on how to use your Affinity Tickets below:
- Head to Recruit
- Go to Recruit Pokémon before selecting Meet a New Lineup of Pokémon
- While at the confirmation screen, press X before selecting your ticket
- Confirm and select yes to meet your new lineup and use your ticket
Keep in mind that even while using the Affinity Ticket, you will still need to pay the recruitment fee of 2,500 VP / 1x Teammate Ticket to get your chosen Pokémon permanently. You can get the coupons as rewards by advancing in the Battle Pass and completing missions/achievements, with the daily ones being the easiest to farm from. Teammate Tickets can then be farmed mainly via Membership Missions, achievement hunting, and as Battle Pass rewards.
How To Get Affinity Tickets In Pokémon Champions
You can get a total of 126 Affinity Tickets (7x for each type) in Pokémon Champions by completing Trainer Achievements, with two being awarded by performing moves matching its type 50 times in battle, and the remaining seven only being unlocked by upping the number to 250. In other words, you will need to perform at least 50 Fire moves to get your first Fire-Affinity Tickets, and so on. Upon completing the requirement, you can claim your tickets by heading to Submenu, Achievements, Trainer Achievements.
