To the delight of all trainers looking to get a few preps done on their way to work, The Pokémon Company revealed that Pokémon Champions will be arriving on both Android and iOS platforms on June 17, 2026. The game is set to support crossplay between mobile and Switch/Switch 2, as well as cross-save by linking your Nintendo Account on the new platforms.
The announcement was made via both social media and a post on the official Pokémon site. Through it, it was also confirmed that, to celebrate the new release, players will also be able to claim Raichu and the Raichunite X and Y Mega Stones needed to evolve them into Mega Raichu X/Y, by simply logging into the game from June 17 to September 1st, 2026 (at 6:49 PM PDT). Pre-registrations are already open on both the Google Play and the App Store.
The game’s Season M-3 is also expected to arrive on June 16/17, bringing to the title both a refresh in competitive regulations, a new Premium and Regular Battle Pass, as well as other possible additions to its Pokédex. New details regarding the new Battle Pass are expected to be released either officially or via leaks in the coming weeks, as we get closer to the end of the current season. Even if no new Mega Stores are released with it, though, Raichunite X and Y’s arrival will take the game’s current tally to 60.
Pokémon Champions was released as a free-to-play title in April 2026, exclusively for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, and is expected to become the main hub for competitive Pokémon in the future. To check out more on the game, don’t forget to also take a look at all Pokémon currently in the game.
