How to adjust difficulty settings in PGA Tour 2K25.

PGA Tour 2K25 doesn’t mess around when it comes to the difficulty levels you can customize in the MyCareer mode. The game doesn’t just make it so you can change the difficulty to Easy, Medium, or Hard and then call it a day. Instead, there are over a dozen individual difficulty settings that you can go through, all of which change how hard it is to hit the ball in the hole in one way or another.

Of course, none of that matters if you don’t know how to find the difficulty settings in PGA Tour 2K25. If you know where the settings are, though, you might very well be overwhelmed with what to set everything to in the menu. In either case, fear not, as we have you covered with a how-to guide on how to change the difficulty and what all the different settings do in PGA Tour 2K25.

How To Change The Difficulty In PGA Tour 2K25

First off, let’s see how to find the difficulty options in 2K25, as you’ll need to know where they’re located before you even think about changing them. To find the difficulty options in MyCareer, follow these steps:

  • Go into the MyCareer mode from the main menu
  • In MyCareer, go to the Settings menu and navigate to the Difficulty tab
  • Here, you can change the settings for your primary golfer under the “Golfer” tab or change the settings around for three additional profiles, all labeled “Guest” plus a number 1-3
  • The Guest profiles are great for trying out different difficulty settings in MyCareer and then applying whatever your preferences are to the main Golfer profile
  • You can swap back and forth between the profiles from the MyCareer menu at any time

That’s all there is to finding the difficulty options in PGA Tour 2K25. Of course, now that you’re there, you might have even more questions about what each individual setting does and how it impacts your game. Below, we’ll go into all of the difficulty settings and what they do.

All Difficulty Settings In PGA Tour 2K25

There are 12 total difficulty settings in MyCareer, and some of these 12 settings have several options of their own that can drastically alter how your game feels to play. With how many individual difficulty settings there are in PGA Tour 2K25, I highly suggest making a couple of Guest profiles and trying out different combinations to get a feel for what you prefer. If you make a profile and you’re hitting balls straight and far with ease, then maybe consider upping some difficulty settings until it feels like real life a little more.

However, if you can’t hit the ball straight for the life of you, then try to tone down some of the difficulty settings. You don’t have to go as far as putting your difficulty on Perfect Swing and eliminating all other challenges, such as wind and swing bias, but PGA Tour 2K25 is significantly more rewarding when there’s some difficulty curve.

If you’re new to PGA Tour, though, moving all difficulty settings down to easy options is the best way to learn the mechanics. As you improve and things get easier, bump up some settings and continue on from there.

You can also change the opponent’s difficulty in PGA Tour 2K25 if you feel like that’s playing a role in your struggles. This is done by going to the Settings menu in MyCareer and tabbing over until you see “Opponent Difficulty.” You’re able to change a variety of settings here too, but the best option to change is the normal Opponent Difficulty setting and turning it down a couple of notches. You can also change the Conditions Difficulty and various elements of the rounds and holes.
