2K has released PGA Tour 2K23 patch 1.05 addressing some issues in Course Designer, updated commentary and more. However, as mentioned by MrArlingtonBeach and seen by others in the community, the patch seemed to have removed chipping out of bunkers.

There are also complaints about the swing lag and frame rate drops. Users are seeing it mostly during ball flight and on the backswing. Hopefully 2K will provide a response or some sort of update on those issues soon.
