PGA TOUR 2K21 Clubhouse Pass Season 2 Released, Support For 60FPS Added

2K and HB Studios released Season 2 of the Clubhouse Pass for PGA TOUR 2K21. The Bay Hill Club & Lodge is also available today, as a brand new course, free for all players on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Stadia. Nintendo Switch fans will need to wait until March 11.

Season 2 of the Clubhouse Pass, an ongoing live service featuring new clubs, new gear and new MyPLAYER customizations for players to earn and unlock, runs from March 4 to June 3, 2021. It includes the potential to unlock a variety of gear, VC and cosmetic items for MyPLAYERs, including:

  • Three months of new content featuring 75 levels of gear for players to unlock as the season progresses;
  • New Titleist gear and clubs to hit the links with one of the most iconic brands in the sport;
  • FootJoy gloves and shoes to take on each PGA TOUR 2K21 course with style and comfort.

The PGA TOUR 2K21 Clubhouse Pass includes three tiers to fit all players’ needs:

  • Free: This tier enables players to access 15 free levels of the 75 levels in Season 1. Every five levels passed will result in a reward;
  • Premium Pass ($7.99): All 75 levels of rewards are available to unlock through gameplay;
  • Premium+ Pass ($14.99): All 75 levels of rewards are available to unlock through gameplay; players can also skip the first 20 levels and automatically unlock those rewards.

The new update for PGA TOUR 2K21 has added 60FPS support on Xbox and PlayStation consoles.

From the main many just go to Settings, then Graphics. There you’ll see a VSync option that by default is 30 Hz. Click on it and you’ll now find 60 Hz.

    I am seeing that the patch unlocked 60 fps on next gen consoles...https://twitter.com/Seamount4Life/status/1367874387307757582
    EDIT - official confirmation that 60 FPS is now in the game for ALL versions, not just next gen: https://forums.2k.com/showthread.php?4384024-60-FPS-Added-to-Xbox-PlayStation
    Aside from that, the in-game update notes on my PS4 say "stability and performance improvements" and that's it.

    I've been campaigning for 60 FPS for the Series X since before the game was released. To see this day come is a dream that I honestly didn't think would be realized until it came via FPS Boost. It's good to know that HB Studios still has a pulse, but I certainly wasn't expecting this! I'm about to tee off when I finish typing this... as my update download should be finishing about now!
    Thanks for sharing this wonderful news Steven!
    It also appears the Arnold Palmer Invitational has been added as the official PGA 2K21 society event this weekend...you just have to get the four rounds in within 3 days instead of the usual 4.

    I saw that, but in doing so it apparently lost it's status as an E-Series event. It will still be fun to play, especially as good as the course looks and now how well the game plays at 60 FPS!
    Wow, so glad they added this.  I bought this on PS4 months ago and literally played it for 5 minutes and never again due to the 30 fps feeling unplayable.
    Partial shots seem to be easier to handle on higher difficulties with the new FPS. Which is welcomed. Not sure if it just me or if anyone else has noticed.

    I noticed that as well... you can take a more deliberate, measured backswing now. It really feels great to modulate a backswing's length based on the response you're getting from the animation!

    If you pay for season pass and earn content, do you lose it when season 2 ends? Or do you keep anything you unlock?

    Good question... I wish I could answer it but I don't know. I bet MrArlintonBeach can answer it though.
    I didn't buy Season 1, but I did get all the free rewards from it. And I still have access to the items I unlocked, like a Mizuno putter, Under Armour quarter zip jacket, etc. I would assume season 2 is the same, whether you pay for premium content or just go the free route.
    Basically, everything you unlock during the season will always stay unlocked for you. It's just that when the season is over, you cannot unlock any more of the items. But if you play this game fairly frequently, you'll reach the highest level with ease. I mean, I've played maybe 3 or 4 rounds since Season 2 started, and I'm already at level 5.

    I ended up doing the premium+ just because I have titelist everything in my bag. Now if only they’ll add Scotty Cameron.
    Im loving this new course, i just wish it was available in multiplayer matches.
    Ive played quite a few quick multiplayer matches and havent seen Bay Hill at all so i assume it's not in the que. I assumed it would be because the Detroit course is in the que and it was added post launch also.
