Nicki Minaj is in deep trouble with the law and might be at risk of losing her $20 million luxury mansion. A Los Angeles judge is about to order the sale of the mansion in Hidden Hills over an assault case.
A security guard sued Minaj and her husband after he claimed he was allegedly assaulted by them at a concert in Germany. The plaintiff, Thomas Weidenmuller, won the case in a default judgment. The ‘Everybody’ rapper now owes the guard more than $500,000 after the ruling.
However, Minaj has failed to make any effort to pay him. Now, according to Rolling Stone, the judge plans to grant a forced sale of her luxury mansion. The guard’s lawyer, Paul Saso, also seems satisfied with this judgment and is adamant that the sale would generate millions, which would help cover everything. The judge has now set up a hearing for January 22 to receive the Bank of America statement that details Minaj’s payments for the house so she can enter the ruling.

The Security Guard Claimed He Was Assaulted By Minaj And Her Husband
The plaintiff in the case, Thomas Weidenmuller, sued Nicki Minaj and her husband, Kenneth Petty, for assault back in January 2022. He claimed that the incident occurred at a concert in Germany back in 2019.
Weidenmuller recounted the story that he saw Minaj humiliating a female security guard for allowing a fan to jump the barricade and climb on stage. He stated that she started recording the entire exchange, where he stepped in to plead with her not to ruin the female guard’s career due to social media. Weidenmuller claimed that Minaj would respond by throwing her shoe at him, which missed.
He went on to state that after this encounter, Petty would sucker punch him from behind as some form of retribution. Weidenmuller stated this sudden attack left him ‘stunned and disoriented’, and he instantly felt there was something wrong with his jaw.
“I now have five plates in my jaw, and my jaw has not yet been fully reconstructed. The doctors must still insert implants into my jaw as a part of the reconstruction process. In the interim, the doctors have inserted donor bones from a deceased person into my mouth in order to preserve space for the future implants,” he wrote in a sworn statement.
Minaj Has Not Responded To Any Attempts To Serve Her
Nicki Minaj had been ordered to pay $503,318 in a default judgment after she and her husband never responded to the lawsuit. However, she has not paid the amount as well and is now at risk of losing her house in Hidden Hills.
The plaintiff had filed this application last month and stated that he had tried to enforce the previous judgment through less extreme measures. However, Minaj and her team never responded, as she refused to pay the amount despite being highly capable.
The Trinidadian rapper has a net worth of $130 million, and an amount such as that surely wouldn’t have put a big dent in her account. So, it’s embarrassing on her account for not accepting the ruling and paying the debt.
