NHL 25 Arcade is back today in World of Chel, introducing the new NHL Frenzy event. This update brings wild stadium effects and unique obstacles, creating a fresh twist on the action.
NHL Frenzy includes all power-ups from Arcade and Arcade+ while adding new Stadium Events. Players will have to navigate UFOs with special beams that can either help or hinder their team’s chances.

- Abduction Beam: An overhead UFO will blast down a tractor beam onto the ice and any players caught in the beam will be pulled out.
- Laser Attack – The UFO will send down laser beams that zap and split the ice leaving behind trails of fire that will take out any player passing through the area for a period of time.
Bonus rewards include 100 Martian Pucks, 2X Player XP and 2X Battle Pass XP. The event runs until March 10, with more NHL Arcade events planned throughout the year.
For those new to the mode, NHL Arcade is a limited-time 3-on-3 World of Chel event that reintroduces Big Heads in a modern twist on the classic arcade experience. Teams battle to reach five goals first, with no glass, no rules and no stoppages. Players can team up with friends or jump in solo as a skater or goalie. Every player has the same OVR rating and height/weight, making power-ups and obstacles the real difference-makers.
