NHL 18 Beta Registration Closed - Beta Arrives on July 25 with 3 Modes

EA Sports is giving you a chance to participate in their NHL 18 beta on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, which begins on July 25. The beta will include three modes: NHL THREES, EA SPORTS Hockey League, and Online Vs.

Make sure to register for the NHL 18 public beta here.

UPDATE: (7-19) The NHL 18 beta registration is now closed. Below are the details on the modes that will be playable, when the NHL 18 beta arrives on July 25 and running up to and including August 1.

Lace up your skates and jump into 3-on-3 and experience the speed, skill and creativity of the today’s NHL. Bringing authentic NHL 3-on-3 overtime to EA SPORTS Hockey League, you can now choose to play 3-on-3 full matches, opening up more ice for you and your teammates to get creative, pull off big plays, and showcase brand new skill moves. With more space to attack – and to make mistakes – 3-on-3 EASHL is higher stakes with more competition and skills.

Whether you’re playing in the new 3-on-3 format or the traditional 6-on-6 matches, you’ll earn experience to unlock items for your skater and/or club to customize your player, team or home rink.

Jump in and experience EA SPORTS™ NHL THREES, an all-new 3-on-3 hockey experience with bigger hits, faster action, bigger plays, beautiful dangles and more goals. Inspired by fun, pick-up-and-play arcade sports games, NHL THREES is all action with no offsides, no icing and every penalty sends you straight to center-ice for a penalty shot and the chance to earn a crucial goal.

You’ll have to wait until NHL 18 launches to play the THREES Campaign, but you won’t want to miss playing NHL THREES versus any way you want to in the NHL 18 Beta, online or offline, co-op or competitive.

Play NHL 18 online and feel the the speed, creativity and action of today’s young NHL superstars with new Creative Attack controls and an all-new Defensive Skill Stick. New Creative Teammate A.I. now leverages all the same creative deking and passing plays that you do, creating smarter plays up and down the ice. The A.I. will also use the new Defensive Skill Stick, making them more effective teammates in your own zone.

  1. Offline player so I will pass on the beta. But it will be a first day purchase for me after I trade in a couple of games. Most likely offline NHL 17.5 but hey it's hockey and I had a good offline season as far as a balance of competive play after tweaking the slider for 2 months. So hurry up September
When was the window. I check this site a couple of times a week and signed up last year for NHL notifications and didn't get anything.
Considering getting the game so would have liked to have tried it out.
I think I signed up a few months ago when they announced the game? Or was there like a one day window? Anyone else know this and has anyone gotten an email to download the beta?
I know I signed up in time, I believe it was the day of or after the draft when the first real info started to come out. Anyways, If it is like last year where they send you more than one code for your console , I will for sure start a thread and add my extra code for one of you to grab if your quick enough.
Also, last year I didn't sign up but I managed to get a code by going on twitch and entering a code from twitch streamers. They usually do like a code, every 30min of gameplay, so I would suggest you go on your redeem code section of your store and be ready to enter the code, sometimes you might be in a room with 20 or so people all looking for a code. Also check twitter. GOOD LUCK CODE HUNTING.
They posted on Twitter and Facebook codes get sent out tomorrow. Not everyone that signed is getting one though so I doubt there will be spares

They sent emails out last year on release day at 1:49 PM Eastern.

You're wrong lol.. I had the beta downloaded two or three days prior to the actual beta date.
I think they messed up last year. Codes went out, but then they opened it to the public because people had it downloaded from live 2 days before giving them access when servers went up.
Email sent had my code, and the following it says share with friends.

Really doesn't make sense...If you're going to be stingy, why give out 3 codes to the people who made the cut?
Anyways, I have an extra on Xbox One for anybody in need. If my brother wasn't too lazy to sign up himself, I'd have two extras...
Got my code. Here's two for whoever. Hit me up on psn. Gotmilkman24
    Share these codes with friends:
    1. Use your existing Sony Entertainment Network account on PSN™.
    2. Select the PlayStation®Store icon on the PS4™ system home screen.
    3. Select Redeem Codes at the bottom of the menu on the PlayStation®Store.
    4. Enter the code and get ready to play.
If anyone has an extra PS4 code they'd be willing to share with me, I'd appreciate it greatly. Tried all the ones in this thread and they seem to be used already.
