The NFL has revealed a new star-studded lineup of musical artists for its Thanksgiving Halftime show following the Bad Bunny Super Bowl controversy. It seems that the league is quite aware of the backlash that has come recently for their Super Bowl headline artist pick.
Many fans seem to be quite pleased with the NFL choosing Bad Bunny to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime show. However, on the other side of things, there has been quite a bit of backlash as well from fans who don’t like the pick. Some of this is because either they’re not familiar with the artist, the language barrier, or because they’re not a fan of the Latin artist in general.
So, it seems to please the general audience, the NFL has played it safe. Post Malone, Jack White, and Lil Jon are set to perform at the Thanksgiving Halftime shows across America.
Post Malone Will Perform At The Thanksgiving Halftime Show
The NFL wants to please some of its fans and give them a good time at the Thanksgiving Halftime Show. The fans had been clamoring for a country artist such as George Strait to replace Bad Bunny at the Super Bowl slot. It seems they heard this noise and chose to go for Post Malone.
The ‘I Had Some Help’ artist has gone all-out country for his last release. Malone made the switch from a pop rap artist to country music on his last album, F-1 Trillion. He will be performing in the second game of the day between the Kansas City Chiefs and Dallas Cowboys. Malone is a major fan of the Cowboys and has made fun of the Chiefs in the past.
However, he does have Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce’s signatures tatted on him. So, it might be a fun time for him as a fan as well. Jack White will also be performing for the game between the Detroit Lions and the Green Bay Packers. White is famously known for being in the famous band The White Stripes. Detroit rapper Eminem is set to serve as the executive producer for the Halftime show.
The NFL Are Still Sticking With Bad Bunny For The Super Bowl Halftime
The NFL seems to be sticking to its guns for the Super Bowl Halftime show with its selection of Bad Bunny being the headliner. The NFL Commissioner, Roger Goodell, has announced that they won’t be changing their pick at all and has backed their artist.
While there is a section of fans unpleased about this choice, it seems they’ll have to deal with it themselves. The DTMF singer is also looking to tear down the house once he steps on the stage to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime show.
