NBA 2K21 Patch #4 Arrives on PlayStation 5 & Xbox Series X|S - Fixes Issues Related to Custom Rosters & Team Designs

NBA 2K21 game update #4 arrived on the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 earlier this morning, which should make custom roster and team designers happy.

With most of the 2K team on holiday vacation through the New Year, Corey chimed in with the official patch notes.

I’m hoping but I know no the real schedule and or a fix for inviting friends to online games and updated injuries roster

Sometimes this whole gaming experience feels like deja vu, like we’ve seen this before, very pretty game but same legacy issues in different departments of 2k.
I think Brian Mazique said the custom roster issue may be fixed in MyNBA.
I am playing Heat vs Portland and Candace Parker is announcing. I’ve never heard her before. There is also a good amount “Opening Day” commentary. Grant Hill talked about his opening day in my prior game where the Raptors kicked my Pistons *** earlier.
Not sure if PNR defence is better. I’ve seen some good things this morning but is that related to my gameplan settings? Not sure.
I'm on the next gen train since last monday (PS5). Can someone confirm that in-game injuries are in the game now? Especially in MyNBA.
Sorry if I ask it here, but search is disabled and it's difficult to find an answer to already asked questions.
    Thanks.

I searched last week and asked in a thread as well. I have not seen an answer yet.

Gameplay has been noticeably slowed down at 50 Game Speed. Though they may have actually slowed it down TOO much, dribbling feels a bit sluggish (which may be 2K's fix to the "pace issue" Czar mentioned regarding PnR defense).
Slow players are still too slow, so I still recommend increasing Speed/Acceleration without Ball (Min) to 50 or 55 to get realistic movement from bigs.
PnR defense seems to have improved a bit at default settings/sliders, the Hedge defender reacts but is still too easily beaten due to the aforementioned issue with slow players being too slow.
Game feels worse and worse after each patch from a gameplay perspective only. Can't put my finger on it but I was enjoying play now quick games much more when originally released.

They seem to have drastically decreased the acceleration while dribbling, at least on most dribble moves. Some are still easy to abuse to get that instant speed boost, but the rest take a while before getting you to full speed.
If offline, increasing Game Speed to 51 or 52 might give you a more enjoyable feel. Much looser, less weighted than at 50.
They need to fix the player import/export issue...the Salaries of the players with contract extensions are not exported with the player (attributes/appearances). Thus contracts can exceed 38 million.

Wins are still rarely counting in play now...
Will they compensate everyone to pay the vc we deserve? No, I'm sure they won't
They've been counting pretty consistent for me...been hearing the same online too.
any particular circumstance where it isn't triggering?

has anyone tried importing a draft class in an online league since the patch?
Was just trying to test something in a created online league and when I download a draft class it just stays at the "syncing" screen for a long time and seems to never update.
Another thing I noticed I can't do is when creating the league and choosing the settings you want to edit, when you have the "customize salary cap" turned on you can change the sliders but you can't change the actual salary cap and inflation slider. Is that something that is disabled for online leagues in next gen?

I didn’t agree with this initially (speed/acceleration change) but the acceleration does feel toned down and drives to the basket nerfed a bit. The patch notes don’t talk about this but I do think it’s been adjusted.
