NBA 2K20 MyTeam: New Challenges and Prime Series Promo Code

I just wanted to quickly run through everything else that went up today in NBA 2K20 MyTeam. I already covered the start of Prime Series 2, so let’s get to everything else.

Just to put a bow on the start of Prime Series 2, it’s unclear who the end reward will be at this time. We got galaxy opal Ray Allen for Prime Series 1 (an amazing card), and we know galaxy opal Brandon Roy is tied into the Spotlight Series that will be wrapping up soon. It’s safe to say whoever the reward ends up being, he will be a galaxy opal as well.

New Challenges

The Week 20 single-player challenges are live. It’s the usual batch of easy games for some minimal rewards.

The new Ingram-related Moments challenge means you have to score 49 points with any player. It should be relatively easy to pull this off for 2,500 MT.

The other challenge is Tristan Thompson-related, and so you need to get 14 rebounds with any player for 2,500 MT. Again, this should not be very hard to do.

The highlight is a Prime Series 1 promo code, so you can perhaps get something good that gets you closer to the aforementioned galaxy opal Ray Allen. (You probably won’t, but hey, got to believe.) The code is “Prime-Series-1-packs” and will be available until January 24.

  1. I wish they would make these "Moments" a separate mode. I want to recreate challenges from the real NBA but I have no interest in the card collecting aspect

Do you mean you want to make your own challenge goals? Or you just mean you want more Moments like in MLB The Show?
I guess like how MLB The Show does it or like that one NBA Live game did it where they had you replay moments in the season that happened recently. Like "recreate this buzzer-beater" or "score 49 or more points with Ingram" Problem is Live  didn't update them enough and of course the actual game wasn't that good.
But creating your own challenges sounds like a good idea though. You can do it on your own in your head but an in-game option would be nicer.
