It looks like 2K will be changing up how Moments players work this year by increasing their value via “Moments of the Week” sets.

The collection reward for this set of Moments players is the diamond Trae Young. This is another good twist for 2K to add to MyTeam as most Moments cards in the past were incredibly cheap when they were not the high-end ones. Now we have more incentive to try to get more of the cards.
We also got three more attainable Moments Challenges that can be knocked out with relative ease. It’s also worth noting once more that 2K is doing great work here to keep updated on these Moments Challenges.
First up is C.J. McCollum. You have to score 35 points on Pro with any player. McCollum was a driving force in the awesome back-and-forth game between the Mavs and Blazers last night. He had a number of great finishes over Porzingis in between rocking it in mid-range as per usual. You get 2,500 MT for this moment.
Trae Young is off to an unsustainable start, but he does look awesome either way so far. This challenge involves scoring 39 points with any player on Pro and winning the game. You have 5 minute quarters for this challenge and get 6 tokens for pulling it off.
Lastly, we have rookie Ja Morant in his first show-out performance against Kyrie Irving and the Nets. Morant had 17 points in the 4th, blocked Kyrie Irving’s shot at the end of regulation, and assisted on Jae Crowder’s game-winning 3-pointer at the end of OT. You’re back to 4 minute quarters here as you try to drop 30 on Pro to get a a Standard Heat Check pack.
It’s also worth noting that the Andre Drummond challenge changed back again, so you don’t need to get 23 rebounds to accomplish it. I assume 2K made this change after the initial glitch was fixed and some felt it was unfair they had to actually get the 23 rebounds when many had already beaten the challenge while the requirement was just “win the game” on Pro.
