  1. Broooo if player models look that amazing in game, then I don't even care about the dark crowds !
Maybe them dimming the lighting was the key to bringing out all this color and detail
This game looks amazing. Players looks awesome and it looks like the arena lighting might be improved.
Never cared for the screenshot rating hype stuff but this year I want more lol.
Much better face than last year.
Now is when all of Ronnie's friends start getting pic releases I guess
    I'll take 'em.
Definitely seeing variance in the arm sizes. And Nick looks appropriately thinner than some of the others we've seen.
Just hard to judge when they're doing certain poses.
Dame was the easiest to judge and that one was the best for that reason IMO.
Makes me a bit nervous only because it doesn't fully tell us whether the terrible skinny bodies are gone yet or not. Gotta see Steph and KD

They are gone this was the first player screenshot released that had the horrible skinny body from last year and u can tell in the comparison pic that the arm size has more form and he actually has a rounded shoulder instead of a arm attached directly to the players chest.

Yea I agree I'm just trying to not get too hype and be let down lol
Starting to see this year's game isn't a big graphical leap but instead 2k made enough little detailed changes to notice a great improvement in how the game looks can't wait to see how it looks from a gameplay persepective.

Love these side-by-sides. Those 2K18 jersey look tremendous. Here's hoping that tech carried on over to the classic jerseys as well.
Looks like they really tried to make things appear as realistic as possible, glad they didn't just sit on last year's graphics and do some light body type fixing. Body types look fixed, faces look more detailed, jerseys look 100x more realistic, they went for everything. Can't wait for those gameplay and presentation blogs, this should be a great one.
The Eyes have a soul - My favorite screenshot by far, side by side comparison shows a massive step up in facial graphics. Much more "human, alive, life." Looks like there's a "soul" to the player. Comes through especially in the eyes.
Jersey is looking solid. Crisp bold colors.
Better jersey physics??? - Might be reading too much into it. Dare I say (only extrapolating, hypothetical guess), better jersey physics on par with 2k14. Or at least some semblance of jersey physics. Just look at the angular tug on the jersey with Nick Young's raised arm. Major difference on how the jersey deform between 2k17 and 2k18.
Plus I always think 2k simply looks better in motion as far as how players "look." Screenshots never really do them justice.
Whoever said 2k did something to the eyes to make them look more human and less terminator-like in another thread is right. Lighting and skin textures are looking improved imo. No way to tell whether Pre-Captain America Steve Rogers' bodies have been eliminatied until they actually show us someone in 2k18 who had that body in 2k17 like Giannis, KD, Gordon Hayward, Curry(With people saying that's Curry's arm in Howard's screenshot couldn't that be Klay's arm as well?), etc.
Facial expressions look INCREDIBLE so far. As do body types and of course player faces. What really stands out to me though is how great the lighting looks. Just in the comparison pic of 2k17 Young vs 2k18, the lighting looks WAY better!

It's about time 2k got an art director that actually listened. Each time the community complained the graphics just seemed to go the opposite direction. Gives me hope that sound got some love as well.

I do hope the jersey physics are like 2k14 or better and it looks pretty good here. I hated how in last year's game the jerseys looked like they were completely stuck to the players bodies while the straps of the jerseys would bounce up and down.
