The second in-season NBA 2K League tournament of the year starts at 6:00 PM ET. THE TURN powered by AT&T runs through Saturday, July 17. Fans can catch the livestreams on the official Twitch and YouTube channels.
Teams will be competing for a prize pool of $260,000. The winner of THE TURN will earn nearly half of the prize pool, with the remainder being awarded to the second through eighth-place teams.
- First place – $117,000
- Second place – $52,000
- Third and fourth place – $22,100 each
- Fifth through eighth place – $11,700 each
To create even more on-court excitement and introduce an added layer of strategy, the NBA 2K League will implement an “Archetype Ban” concept for THE TURN for the third straight year. An archetype is a preset combination of attributes and skills. Players can choose from five different archetypes per position.
Below are some of the storylines heading into the matchups, which are played in a best-of-three series, single elimination format.
Knicks Gaming point guard Christopher “Duck” Charles was named NBA 2K League Player of the Week for Week 6. Highlighted by 37 points and six assists in his team’s 81-62 win over 76ers GC on July 10, the Brooklyn-native averaged 32.0 points and 8.8 assists in four games during Week 6. Knicks Gaming enters THE TURN as the No. 14 seed and will visit the No. 19 seed Hawks Talon GC tonight at 10 p.m. ET.

The point guard also connected on six three-pointers. After winning THE TIPOFF powered by AT&T in May, T-Wolves Gaming enters THE TURN on a three-game winning streak.
After THE TURN, there will be four weeks remaining in the regular season. The 2021 NBA 2K League Playoffs presented by DoorDash will begin on Thursday, Aug. 26 and feature 12 teams. The top five teams in each conference at the end of the regular season will automatically qualify for the 2021 Playoffs. The 13 remaining teams will compete in THE TICKET from Aug. 19-21, with the winning teams from each conference earning the 11th and 12th spots in the playoffs.
