The deal gives NACON exclusive rights to develop and publish official WRC games and run eSports competitions on PC and consoles. The agreement runs for six seasons, starting in 2027 and continuing through 2032.

NACON is set to reboot the WRC game series as part of the new deal aiming to capture the full scope of the championship, including official rallies, cars, teams, drivers and sponsors, with a focus on authenticity for both die-hard fans and new players.

Rumors are starting to circulate that Codemasters might be shutting down for good, but nothing is official.
