MotoGP 26: Best Settings for Beginners

Excel right off the grid.

Even if featuring a more friendly approach to simulation when compared to its predecessors, MotoGP 26 can still be quite demanding for beginners, even more so if this is your first true-to-form sim.

With Arcade as our chosen experience, we recommend that those having difficulty staying on the track in MotoGP 26 set their Neural Brakes and Steering to Moderate before shifting Neutral Throttle to on. I know there’s a stigma that comes with using the above, but believe me, pairing them with the must-have Trajectory Aids is fundamental for slowly acclimating yourself to the experience while maintaining a degree of agency.

Make sure to also leave the Gameplay Settings untouched, so you won’t have to worry about manually performing shifts or controlling your bike’s clutch. Lastly, Rewind is a must-keep feature that lets you redo botched lines and improve offline at the press of a button. To recap, here are the best beginner settings in MotoGP 26:

  • Experience: Arcade (Leave all unspecified settings on Default)
  • Neural Steering → Moderate (If having trouble staying on track following tight turns)
  • Neural Brakes → Moderate
  • Neural Throttle → On (If unfamiliar with racing sims)

Once the above are checked, slowly disable the aids one by one as you grow in confidence, and take your Transmission, Starting Clutch, and RHDout of full auto. Remember, it’s way easier to get a grasp of the full picture if you add things to the frame one at a time.

A line, as seen in MotoGP 26.

But What About Offline Game Speed?

Although tweaking the setting can help you learn the proper order of things after making the final change to the full Pro Experience, I don’t recommend turning down your Offline Game Speed in MotoGP 26. The reason? The sudden shift might end up causing more harm than good, especially after you worked so hard on mastering the timings of the bikes.
