MLB The Show 26 game update #8 is available today, bringing a handful of fixes and additions across presentation, Diamond Dynasty and more. As previously mentioned in update 1.07, the 2026 City Connect bat skins for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Texas Rangers have now been added to the game.
The update also cleans up a few scene and camera issues that players may have noticed during games. Several player models have also been updated, including Ben Brown, Daniel Espino, Jacob Misiorowski, Ryan Thompson and Austin Wells.
In Diamond Dynasty, the team fixed a freeze that could happen in the Player Upgrades menu, along with an issue where baserunners would occasionally fail to appear during Moments or Showdowns after the opening presentation sequence.
