MLB The Show 26 Adds Spring Breakout Content, Headlined by Top Prospect Konnor Griffin

Days after its full release, MLB The Show 26 has released a fresh wave of Diamond Dynasty content — the Spring Breakout program, which also features collection rewards headlined by one of MLB’s top prospects.

Leading the content update is Pittsburgh Pirates top prospect Konnor Griffin, who headlines the Spring Breakout collection as a 90 OVR reward. Players can unlock Griffin by collecting 16 Spring Breakout player cards. Spring Breakout itself celebrates the young players who are making a splash in Spring Training, before the official start of the MLB season.

New Conquests And Chase Pack

Conquest players have also received some new content, as new USA-themed maps offer additional rewards, including “Spring Breakout Series player items.” However, from the looks of it, these cards don’t count toward the collection.

Chase Pack 2 is also out, featuring a pretty cracked 91 OVR Adley Rutschman All-Star card. Chase Packs are, quite frankly, a crap shoot and will often require many rips to pull the featured card. So, for many, this card will be unattainable unless they’re already sitting on a stockpile of Stubs.
