MLB The Show 20: July Monthly Awards Program Overview

With the June Monthly Awards now behind us, this will be the last month of flashback Monthly Awards — assuming the relaunch of the MLB season goes according to plan. The July Monthly Awards program is headlined by a 99 overall James Paxton. Those who are veterans of MLB The Show should remember Paxton from prior seasons because he’s at points been one of the hardest pitchers to hit in Diamond Dynasty.

That being said, I don’t know if this card will be quite as coveted as last month’s Cody Bellinger. Either way, Paxton is a terrific “free” card should you choose to grind out the missions and moments to acquire it. Of course, you’ll also be able to get a Prestige James Paxton if you grind out online missions after getting the base player.

Let’s go through the various players and goodies you can get for this program.

  1. Most of the moments weren’t bad. I got stuck on the Grandal ones for a bit because you have to hit homers for the xbh because he’s not getting any doubles.
Also them picking Paxton over Carpenter is the most disappointing thing in The Show history for me.
Just want to chime in to say I really appreciate these write ups. I think these are the only places on the internet that the requirements & rewards are all outlined.

I prefer it too. Most of the YouTube guys are kind've annoying plus the ads.
Nice to just have a few paragraphs that get to the point
It's a little buried...but if you complete the 4 monthly awards programs, the collections screen has a "Ducks on the Pond" pack. Definitely worth gunning for to have a chance at that Chapman or Ernie tier.
Did this in a morning, super easy.
Unfortunately only got the Cutch/Grienke tier, but I'll take the 18K in stubs and a 99 starter (and 95 reliever) that'll make my team easily.

Where is that at? I've completed all 4 monthly programs and have all the players.

Go to collections then classic players or something two options to the right of live players.... It has all the postseason, all stars, fof, rookie, etc cards in there and that's where player of the month collection is
