Yes, I know the “WARNING” sign is a staple of the X and Zero series, but I couldn’t resist, as the long-awaited Mega Man DLC Pack has finally debuted in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.
Released on March 25, 2026, the pack is the game’s fourth overall paid DLC package, following its Minecraft, SpongeBob SquarePants, and Pac-Man crossovers, and can be acquired for $5.99/£4.99 indivudually or via the game’s Season Pass. Those who purchase the game’s Deluxe Edition on any platform will also have immediate access to it. Together with two new racers (Mega Man and Proto Man), the pack offers the following:
- Rush Roadstar Machine
- Wily Castle Course
- New Jukebox tracks: Wily Castle: Intro, Wily Castle, Wily Castle: Final Lap, Dr.WILY STAGE 1, Dr.WILY STAGE 1: Final Lap, MEGA MAN: Character Select, and MEGA MAN: Result

The Blue Bomber’s arrival also came with a new thematic event in the Mega Man Festival. Available from March 26 to 29, 2026, the event allows players to exchange Festival Points for Mega Man-inspired items, going from an exclusive title to many decals.

With their arrival, Mega Man and Proto Man bring Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds‘ still-growing roster to a total of 36 characters. Six new additions have also been confirmed to debut in the form of free DLCs, with the first three arriving within the next couple of months in the form of Angry Birds‘ Ed, Yakuza: Like a Dragon‘s Majima, and Puyo Puyo‘s Arle.
Two new DLC packs, focused on both the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Avatar: The Last Airbender, are also confirmed to debut in Q3, 2026, featuring six new faces/vehicles. Here’s an overview of the game’s post-launch roadmap, according to SEGA:
