Maximum Football Shares Key Update Ahead of Franchise Mode Launch

The team behind Maximum Football is working diligently on the new Franchise Mode.  It’s one of the biggest updates the game is about to get since its release. For a free-to-play game with a small team behind it, it’s a big thing.

We do know a little about what the Franchise Mode will be, but Maximum Entertainment just announced a key update ahead of the new mode launch.

The team announced on X that they are working on perfecting the pro-kickoff rules for the Franchise Mode. They announced that the pro-kickoff rules are working. Here is the entire tweet.

As they get closer to releasing Franchise Mode, we are sure to see more updates like this from the devs. 

What This Means For Maximum Football

For a lot of people, Maximum Football is a free-to-play alternative to games like Madden. It’s not comparable to the big games like Madden, as these games have large teams and massive budgets behind them. It’s a relatively small game with a small community.

To be honest, Maximum Football is far from perfect. The game still lacks a lot of polish. It has bugs and glitches; the physics still needs to be worked on. Overall, it is still far from what people would call a good football game.

This new Franchise Mode is their next big move. Franchise mode allows you to do a lot of stuff like create your own league, manage the teams, draft players, trade, etc. But to achieve that and deliver the mode as promised, the game needs to be improved. This means fixing up the issues, improving the physics, and adding the key features required to make this mode a success.

This kick-off rules update sounds small, but it is a step in the right direction. Instead of just marketing and releasing the Franchise Mode to get new players in, they are diligently working on perfecting the game ahead of the mode’s release.
