However, not everyone has been a fan of Brady’s dual roles within the sport. After 23 years in the sport, Brady seems to want to give back to the game. But many of them see his dual roles as a conflict of interest, as it is bound to create a lot of bias. However, the former Patriots quarterback doesn’t seem to think it would do anything of the sort.

One of Brady’s biggest critics, Skip Bayless, has now ripped into the seven-time Super Bowl champion for his dual roles. The expert analyst criticized Brady for his hypocrisy in continuing with the matter while speaking on The Arena: Gridiron. He sees it as a part of a power play from the NFL legend.

“Sanctimonious hypocrisy from Tom Brady. He wants his cake and eat it too, it just makes me want to puke. This is a money play and a power play on the part of Brady. He wants to own 5% of the Raiders. That’s worth $400 million.

Bayless Isn’t Letting Brady Get Away So Easily

Skip Bayless doesn’t let anyone go off so easily without giving his take on the matter. It seems that every time Tom Brady is involved, he gets overly aggressive in speaking about him. He got his chance to address the controversy surrounding Brady’s dual roles and didn’t take it easy on him either.

The veteran analyst makes it clear that Brady’s GOAT status doesn’t clear him from any criticism that comes his way. In fact, it looks as if from Bayless’s perspective, he should be more adapted to the criticism since he’s put on a higher pedestal by the fans. Bayless sees it as a form of manipulation from the NFL legend to get what he wants following retirement, and the latter knows it as well.

“He (Brady) doesn’t deserve a lifetime GOAT pass from any criticism after he leaves the football field,” Bayless said on “The Arena: Gridiron” show on Thursday. “He’s trying to treat us like a bunch of gullible fools with all this sanctimonious bulls*it that’s in this post of his. And when he sat there with the headset on, he knew exactly what he was doing. It was a big FU to the league and to the network I used to work for.

While some agree with Bayless on the matter, it seems that Brady’s fans are arguing against him. The fans think the former Patriots quarterback should be able to do what he wants in the NFL, similar to Michael Jordan.

Tom Brady Called His Critics Paranoid And Distrustful

Tom Brady has addressed the backlash he received due to his dual roles in the NFL. While many see his ownership of the Las Vegas Raiders and his broadcast career with FOX as a conflict of interest, Brady doesn’t think the same. He gave his thoughts on the matter in his newsletter and chose to call his critics paranoid and distrustful.

We’re not sure if that jab towards his critics was aimed at Skip Bayless, but the latter is still going to continue giving his take in the NFL. It seems that many within the NFL have allowed Brady to continue in both roles. Only time will tell if it’s going to work out for Brady in the long run.
