Madden NFL 26 Update Addresses KO Abilities, Coverage Shells and More

A new Madden NFL 26 update went live earlier this morning, bringing a mix of stability improvements along with a small but meaningful gameplay tweak.

One of the key fixes addresses an issue with defenders who have knockout abilities. In some cases, the ability would activate but the ball would not come loose even when the hit and knockout chance were successful. With this update, when a knockout roll succeeds and contact is made during a catch, the ball will now be knocked out as intended. Players may still see knockout abilities trigger on certain break on ball animations without a forced incompletion, which is expected behavior since those moments do not always result in a successful knockout.

The team also fixed an issue that was preventing players from changing coverage shells in certain formations.
