Madden NFL 21 Patch 1.10 Arrives Tomorrow, Some Patch Notes Revealed
Madden NFL 21 game update 1.10 is scheduled to arrive tomorrow at 11:00 AM ET. Some of the patch notes were revealed earlier today on Good Morning Madden, which features ball carrier, tackling, catching and defensive coverage improvements. It also fixes formation subs and the hitch in the kick meter, the community was seeing in field goal situations.
When the full patch notes arrive tomorrow, we’ll make sure to update, as it typically provides more details. Until then, check out some of the patch notes captured by Muthead below.
For those of you looking for franchise mode updates, the first of three scheduled updates are set to arrive in mid-November. You will not be required to restart your franchise, when these updates arrive.
Here’s a list of community requests the team is currently implementing and testing. Keep that in mind, as things could change, the closer we get to release.
- X-Factor/Superstar Ability Customization: This highly requested feature by the community allows commissioners to assign X-Factors to any player via the edit player feature. Once a player has met the criteria to unlock an X-Factor ability, commissioners will be able to edit their player’s Superstar abilities and Superstar X-Factor ability by selecting from those available within his position group. Users will have control over this functionality in both offline and online Franchises.
- Player Card Career Stats UI: A top community request for several years now, the team is revamping the statistics on the player card to include more context in season stats, like week, opponent, and outcome, while also providing what team the player was on for every year of their career.
- Dev Trait Regression Tuning: The team is doing tuning work to player development traits in Franchise mode to ensure a proper balance of Superstar and X-Factor players when progressing multiple years in a Franchise.
- Playoff Bracket: A visual playoff bracket will be added into the game that reflects the new Wild Card format, allowing users to see the full playoff picture.
EA provided some other post-launch Madden NFL 21 franchise mode updateslast month, as well as details on the very early stages for Madden NFL 22 updates for franchise mode.
And most things broken by their own updates :) Can't wait to see what else breaks when they do this.

Sad that I'm excited for a OOB feature I should have had already
Me too!

I don't think there were any face scans done this year due to Covid, so maybe next yr. The rest of your post is nonsense.
I'd like to nominate this kid for cringe post of 2020. Such an embarrassing post.

Kick meter looks to be getting fixed in this update - it's the last point.
This first month of Madden 18, 19, and 20 would like a word with you... There's a ton of bugs in this game but it's actually playable compared to the trash we were given at launch with those games.
Concerning this patch- it amazes me how the team can be so blind to issues. They do this every year. They fix half of a problem but not the whole problem even though it's right in front of their faces... For example, they're "fixing" the kick meter. Great. Sounds awesome. Until you read the fine print... "Hitching during FG situations" ... The hitch happens on kickoffs as well. But the Madden team didn't test it enough or listen to bug reports to find out. They did the same thing a few years ago with the lighting bug where they fixed it in some situations but not all. They added "open roofs" to dome stadiums in CFM but won't let us control when they're open/closed.
My hopes are very low on this formation sub fix. I am willing to bet they're either fixing it in game or in the menu and it'll still be broken in the other spot. Hope I'm wrong, but their track record is long enough for me to expect laziness.
Really can’t start a Franchise without it IMO...( Mid November-December) really..
Most use an Agile approach to development, which encompasses just that - release and update in iterations. You will continue to see multiple "patches" as the game moves forward.
Back in the day, software would be held back and released a month, 2 months, 6 months late for example until they removed all but Sev3 type bugs. Release dates constantly shifted to the right. For the most part, not for all, those days are over.

It's in there. Apparently it's going to be fixed but i'll believe it when i see it.

Back in the day, they didn't have high-speed internet and live update capabilities. Maybe if they did Sierra's FB Pro 99 might not have been recalled, which seems to have put the end to that great football video game franchise.
Greeeaattt...saw some running game fixes also...looking forward to this now..
Just hope the Patch don’t break something else..:y220:

No disrespect, why are you surprised? It's doesn't matter to the millions that buy it.
I'm 100% serious when I say that I bet if they forgot to include a whole team at launch, and said they'd patch it in a month later, thet'd sell millions of copies.

Mine shows 1.0.0.19
Word in the other thread (not sure why there's still two threads??) is that formation subs aren't even fixed. Other bugs popping up too. It was easy to predict that they'd break more stuff and under-deliver on their promises but it's always disappointing when it becomes reality.
Not at all & I feel like this has been one of the better playing Maddens to date before this patch. Not sure I follow the logic of you saying they're not trying, but yet have dropped quite a few updates already to fix game issues. I mean you only played less than 2hrs....
Guess I'm just done with All pro then?
