  1. Two things I been looking for and love. They have Trubisky’s cadence in, and they redid the banner around the field to the “BearDown” theme. Excellent! And it even looked like they toned down the orange on the field. It was always to Orange I thought. Looks nice. Thanks for the video!

Why are the lineup animations like that? They look arcadeish, goofy, completely out of place....them crossing their arms was intimidating in 18, now it just looks dumb...

I know. I hate that too. It’s stupid. Just go back to the presentation style banners!

I haven't watched the entire thing yet but the AI running game still seems to be a problem. I know he's playing on Pro so hopefully on All-Pro or All-Madden the AI running game is a lot better.

He mentioned early on in the video he was spamming the sprint button. Said he found out from the developers that is a no no and that is why his running game was in the toilet.
A disclaimer from the OP, if you will.

I was just talking about the Bears running game.
I thought I'd see them fix the way the linemen just spin out of the huddle and walk to the line but, I guess not, lol. Small thing but an immersion killer. Especially when it wasn't like that before. Alot of the movement is really hit or miss as usual. Like the presentation stuff though.
Looking at the other games the were already over only 2 players broke 100 yards rushing. I saw some players only have 20 or 30 yards rushing on more than 10 attempts.

So are these videos the most updated version of Madden 19?

That was my question as well. Graphics, lighting and player models look light years ahead of what I've previously seen. Everything looks very crisp and clean. Zone defense appears to have taken a step forward also.
The running animations still look off to me. Hard to explain, but they kinda look like horses do when they are trotting.
So I am guessing this was PS4 or PS4Pro based on the icons? If so it looks much smoother than last year. Seemed like a solid 60fps all the time which is great. The weird thing is this looked smoother than the "Browns vs. Giants" footage posted earlier which is PC based game. That footage reminded me of the 4k samples of the legends games that were posted several months ago showcasing the PC in 4K. I am starting to get concerned the PC game is not as polished.....but I will refrain from making a judgement as the capture method of the PC could be to blame. Both PC samples I have seen so far say 60fps but they looked slower than this PS4 footage for sure.
Small detail but thank goodness they fixed the goofy high-knees/floating animation of WRs when they were breaking the huddle and jogging out wide. It looked so bad in earlier videos.

Just imagine how much better the Xbox One X version will look.
Once again, the simplest things that should be rudimentary at this point... Pass trajectories... Still can't get this right. I literally had the video playing in the background, and I watched like 5 pass plays. On a few of them I saw defenders who were literally 20 yards in front of the intended receiver warp 5 yards laterally and deflect the pass. This is something that I'd expect in 1998. In 2018? Come on man.
Could be the player controlling Seattle, but most boring video so far. Crossing patterns and slants. Dink and dunk and immediate tackles. What happened to a little wide open football? Ball physics are bad. Ball stops movement almost immediately after hitting ground. Hopefully more videos soon with a better user.
This madden 19 is awful !! Come on EA, same old dumb animations NOTHING changed at all. Why does WR continues trying catch the ball off the field ? Players lineup is sooooo silly.

Pleeeaaase noooooo! I can’t handle this. People think they’re nice because they can somehow cover 20 yards of ground in any and sometimes multiple directions. That being said I will reserve judgment until I get hands on time.
Player models looked a lot better than they have in earlier videos. I thought the game looked smooth and was noticeably more realistic overall than 18.
The player line up it dumb as hell though. Why does every offensive player have a football? They’re trying too hard with that one. Just show their player portraits at the bottom of the screen like in real games. I’d take just listing the line up with their names over that kooky **** lol.
graphic look amazing especially field, player model.. why he playing on Pro difficulty ? maybe he suck at all pro and all madden difficulty. Bears doesn't score any points on Pro difficulty. Damn, he skipped halftime show so i want see how does the score around the league look during halftime show
Also seemed like they put a little work into the crowd being more diverse in terms of the people and what they were wearing. Definitely a welcome addition. Just wish the NFL would allow them to have dynamic attendance.

It might be a very recent build, but it's not the final build. There's no halftime show.

It felt like he was just button mashing thru everything. Cutscenes included. But he did say in the beginning that “there may have been an update or two since” so yea. Maybe not final build.

does not seem like it according to this particular video

Yea I was thinking the same thing but crazy enough the pads were bigger then this in earlier builds, but I still want them smaller the pads were never the issue it was correct sleeves so I am not sure why pads got such a face lift this year.

Please don't shoot the messenger, lol.
We were told by the developers after EA Play in June the huge shoulders pads are gone.
If you still don't wish to believe, not sure what else to tell you.
You can tell in a lot of these videos these guys are used to past Maddens where you could throw to a receiver who catches it in stride horizontally and then turn upfield without losing speed. You can't do it now. Every time they do that in these videos of '19 they end up hard cutting upfield and getting tackled practically instantly resulting in maybe 1 YAC. It'll take a lot of people some time to get used to taking that guy towards the boundary some more and gradually turning upfield like players tend to have to in real life to keep stride and speed.
I still think the "Bears" lettering on the field needs to be toned down or washed out a bit. Still too orange imo but that can go for a lot of the teams logos on field.
I didn't mind the offensive and defensive introductions last year, in fact i thought it was pretty cool and a nice new touch. On the other hand giving everyone a football during those introductions this year looks corny as hell. I don't know why but like someone else said i think they tried too hard with that one.
Next thing you know they will all be in a line doing Fortnite emote dances during intros. Sometimes less is more EA.

Yeah, I agree with the lineups. Not really sure who's idea that was. I get their having fun with it, but still its kinda goofy. I did get a chuckle when I saw one of the videos posted of two of the lineman doing rock, paper, scissors. 3rd grade humor. I think its more for the younger, younger demographic.
Looks like they toned it down from last year, but I wouldn’t mind seeing a little more. I also think the natural grass fields always looking brand new, no matter the weather, city, or time of year is something they should’ve had fixed by now.

No doubt you know being a Bear fan that Soldier Field in December consists of brown grass and spray paint... lol

Another thing I noticed. Injury timeout..no update on who it was, no talk about it. Was hoping that would’ve been fixed.

Overall the game looks pretty but until I see with my own eyes, I will be cautious with my praise.  I see with this little video that penalties are still absent for the most part.   The terrible QB mechanics are still there.  When throwing short to the right, the QB not moving the body, but just flicking.  That is such poor mechanics and it has always been that way.
Presentation was looking really good until about 6:10 mark when that god awful overhead camera with that stupid little stat box comes in.
Please EA, get that out of the game.
How is the striped sock length not adjustable yet, EA has been telling us every year for the past 3 or 4 that this will be fixed and every year they disappoint.
The most jarring thing im seeing in these videos is the post play. For sone reason players take a little bit to react post play, so they turn into zombies for a while before they celebrate or react
