I'm a Bengals fan and even I am surprised Mixon got as much love as he did. Will be interesting to see where they have McCaffrey at if Mixon is a 79. Obviously Mixon was more talented than his slot, but thats a big gap from his slot to Fournette and McCaffrey
So Kizer isn't good enough to start for Notre Dame all season but he is a 74.... This is such a joke. Dude shouldn't be higher than a 67 until he proves something. This is so insanely inflated.
I'm probably alone in this thinking but it amazes me to no end just how important Madden ratings are to rookie players. How about you worry about your upcoming rookie season in the NFL? Worry about training camp first.

Cooper Kupp is a 75?! These ratings are out of hand. I saw a pee wee game a couple weeks ago and their QB was tearing it up. I bet Madden Devs would make him a 95.

He's kinda the most productive WR in FBS history
"He's an advanced route-runner. I love his hands and his edge. Very average speed. His three-cone was one of the best of the combine, meaning he can get in and out of breaks. Against two Pac-12 teams, he caught the ball 27 times with six touchdowns, so don't give the 'level of competition' with Kupp." -- Mike Mayock

Wouldn't shock me if they gave Mixon a slow development trait though due to his issues. We all know he has the physical tools, but his head needs to be screwed on straight.

Most analyst said he would of been a lock for a top 10 pick if not for his off the field issue. So I assume McCaffrey is a 79 as well and Fournette would be an 80

I personally am more interested to see draft class ratings. I wonder if we're still going to see a buck of SS players every draft, a handful of 78+ OVR QBs, and hundreds of 90+ OVR players in year 3-5

Think you mean FCS.. Not FBS history.

Kupp is a monster. Have u followed him in college? U act like he's a bum just cause he doesn't play in the power 5 conference.

DeShone Kizer had 1.8 seasons as a starter at Notre Dame. 25 Career Games. He threw for 5,805 yards, with 47 TD's and 19 INT's. He also ran for 997 and 18 TD's. He has prototypical NFL quarterback size, with athleticism and a big arm to go with it. He also does not have much of a history with injuries at all. I don't think a 74 is generous at all based on DeShone's abilities.

    Draft classes are absolutely brutal

Don't you all realize the rookies will be impact players no matter what? The OVR is such a misleading number.
The real question is what their awareness is. EA historically gives them low AWR out the gate to have their OVR start low. All these guys are virtually 90 rated players.
Just up some AWR and you'll see that OVR shoot up

If he is such a monster then why did 68 people get picked before him in the draft?... With his massive rating we are looking at 82+ guaranteed for williams, ross, davis.

The amount of 78 overall QB's is crazy ! People get fired over not getting QB'S right there hard to find . Most are flops go back threw each draft and count the amount of QB'S that turned out good and how many are backups and out the league . Getting a 74 to 78 Qb should be a wow most should be around 60 to 69 .

Most 1st round QB's come into Madden rated a 75 or higher. Plus if it were really THAT hard to find a QB, people would go crazy in online CFM's trying to tank. Also, some are saying that there are potentially 3-5 true franchise QB's in next years draft. Lets not forget the 83 and 04 drafts.

Yeah, I can't believe how many rookies aren't applying themselves in training camp and the regular season because of their Madden ratings. /s

so interesting that when any sports game comes out with the ratings, the forum turns into this, who really cares what the ratings are.

Usually people who play the game. It kinda has a big impact. Especially for CFM leagues and online games.
