He's a Packer, so of coarse not, don't be silly.

That would be correct. I honestly do feel like there's a Packer bias. I've always said one person in charge of ratings is a bad idea.
Picking and choosing when to go by combine stats and "scouting reports."

I disagree - I see him fairly rated. He's always been a player that's extremely inconsistent. An 89 catch rating is very generous for him in my opinion - you can see they tried to reflect that in him having lower catch in traffic, spectacular catch ratings.
He's always been an okay run blocker - aside from that he's got one of the leagues worst personalities, and checks out of games often.

Seems a little strange to me that Kelce, Walker and Olsen all have the same speed. Furthermore, I'm a Panthers fan and absolutely love Olsen, but he isn't as fast a Kelce (not a huge statement but still) - there's gotta be nearly 10 years age difference

I don't want to take the thread off kilter that much, but I need to disagree with you on the run blocking skills and maybe worst personalities, which is way overblown. Blocking is one of his stronger suits, not sure where your info is that he is an ok blocker.

77 but it should be lower. I wish they would spread the ratings and use the entire 1-99 scale instead of basically only using 65-99.

Wonder what Gronks injury rating is

It's 77 according to the spreadsheet that came out. I was surprised to see Kelce at only an 82, hasn't missed a game in the last three years.

Meanwhile Byron Jones who is mentioned there has 96 agility and ran a significantly slower 3-cone as well as a slower 20-yard shuttle. His scouting report also mentions that he "has difficulty gearing down quickly and changing directions. Doesn't always play with feet under him. Will lose balance and footing too often. Not a quick-twitch athlete."

    yup......
I'm never one to call things like that out unless something really seems off.

As a pats fan , Bennett was a beast last year. Def don't know why he isn't as high as Delaney Walker?

Delani Walker always gets an OVR boost because he has the highest Run Block.

He just said Jones has been in the league and proven he has good change of direction.
I don't usually like to argue ratings and here's why...
There's just not enough time in the day for any one guy, or even a small group, to accurately rate hundreds of players.
I don't care if someone is the Einstein of NFL knowledge, it's impossible to know everything about every player.
Thankfully I am on offline player, so I can use a custom roster because the Packers are usually a little underrated, but everyone thinks that about their team.

Asked Clint about the AGL rating last year as it relates to gearing down for route running, unfortunately the WR route breaking is just one animation w/no way currently add variable speed to it.
Everyone will run in/out of the break the same.
I'm going to do a Ratings bible after game release dealing with ratings.
There's some things ratings wise that can be done to get guys like this to be immulated a little better during gameplay.
One hidden gem is how the SPD rating is used to mainly control how fast the running animation runs through.
Don't know if you remember, but years ago they introduced varied running animations from a jog to big body sprint etc...
    - 40's trigger the Jog animation
    - 50's trigger slow big body sprint animation
    - 60's trigger slow low end sprint animation (i.e. TE/FB etc...)
    - 70's is best natural sprint animation
    - 80's is speedster sprint animation
    - 90's causes lots of gliding/sliding during sprint (5yrds in 2.)
60's is the best SPD setting for most TE's were they look natural when running.
But that goes against what we've been conditioned to see dealing with SPD rating.

cant remember if Rex or Clint but they said there would be a rating bible blog this year, so you might not have to make one. hopefully it will cover everything
