EA Sports has posted the Madden NFL 18 player ratings for the top offensive lineman in the game this year. Check them out and post your thoughts!

  • Marshal Yanda (Overall 96)
  • Zack Martin (Overall 95)
  • Trent Williams (Overall 95)
  • Tyron Smith (Overall 94)
  • Travis Frederick (Overall 93)

Also noted in the blog, the following Raiders offensive lineman are in the top 12.

  • Kelechi Osemele (Overall 92)
  • Rodney Hudson (Overall 90)
  • Donald Penn (Overall 89)

  1. I'm surprised no one has commented on these yet. You'd think OL is something people would care about a good OL is one of the most important things a team needs to move the ball. Anyways I'm really going to hate trying to blitz the Cowboys this year.... hope I can get my DBs up to snuff cause I don't think I'll get much pressure on Dak....

    Interesting, they've brought back blocking strength and footwork. Wonder what that'll mean gameplay wise.

    It doesn't come in to play in actual games anymore. Whoever wrote this article clearly doesn't know that. EA...
    The ACCELERATION ratings are crazy. All in the 80s. I get it, but I've had an issue the past few years with how fast guards were able to climb to the linebackers especially on inside zone plays; even guys who weren't elite like this top 5. It's good that there are new mechanics added to take on blocks.
    One thing I noticed in the article, it referenced block strength and block footwork multiple times in the blog but on twitter the other day I saw Clint say that the pass block strength and footwork ratings no longer exist...?
