LeSean McCoy Doubled Down On His Accusations
LeSean McCoy has had enough with shady officiating ruining great football games. There’s been a massive controversy surrounding the Denver Broncos and Buffalo Bills game. Many fans have questioned if the Broncos would’ve made it to the AFC Championship game under different circumstances.
McCoy isn’t happy with the referees at all and put them on blast immediately. After speaking out on X, he spoke about the officiating within the game on his Speak Easy talk show. He accused the referees of cheating Josh Allen and the Bills out of a huge win.
We get to this point and he makes the right throw, and the referees are going to cheat him like that? One thing about the league I’m starting to hate, I’m tired of the boys in black and white taking the game away… I’ve seen like six other Bills crying, but I understand why. The boys in black and white did it again.”
Allen put in a fantastic performance against the Broncos, but it wasn’t enough in the end. On the other side, Bo Nix played a beautiful game, finishing it with 25 completions for 270 yards, similar to the reigning MVP.
The Interception Call Has Spiraled Into A Huge Controversy
Many fans are debating the pivotal moment that benefited the Broncos after Riley Moss got away with a pass interference. There was another moment during the time that saw Brandin Cook’s catch get contested by nickelback Ja’Quan McMillian with a decisive interception.
Regardless of the controversy, the Denver Broncos are now headed into the AFC Championship game. The team will either be going against the New England Patriots or the Houston Texans, with fans tuning in to find out who walks out as the AFC champions.
