Kayla Nicole’s old words have come back to bite her hard. Travis Kelce’s ex-girlfriend has been in the headlines for some unsavory comments from her past being resurfaced online. Many netizens united to dig up some of her old tweets on her X accounts, one of which involved Kobe Bryant’s wife, Vanessa Bryant.
Joe Budden recently discussed her tweets on Sunday’s episode of the Joe Budden TV podcast. He and his co-hosts were disturbed by Nicole aiming at the late Lakers Legend’s wife. They also acknowledged the outrage that came with this tweet, specifically from many fans.
You also couple it with the fact that there have also been tweets that have racist overtones as well. It seems that she’s paying the price now for her past words with a lot of backlash. Budden and his co-hosts read the controversial tweet from Nicole about Vanessa Bryant on the show, which was:
Sum1 explain to me why kobe thirsty wife think she can b in front of all th players!? Sit yo no green card havin azz down. #thaafuuuuhh.” Nicole wrote on X.
Nicole Recently Threw Shade On Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce
Kayla Nicole is being skewered by multiple fan bases all at once on social media. The world of football and basketball seemingly united along with other netizens to throw some heated criticism her way. After her past tweets came to light, there was nowhere for Nicole to hide.
However, perhaps we can attribute this negative backlash to one incident that kicked it all off. It all seemingly started after Nicole threw some subtle shade on her ex-boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and his current fiancée, Taylor Swift. She dressed up as Toni Braxton from the ‘He Wasn’t Man Enough’ music video for her Halloween costume.
This costume choice is significant because of the lyrics of the song that include “Do you know I dumped your husband, girlfriend?” and “He wasn’t man enough for me.” The Swifties then decided to throw a lot of hate her way for this subtle shade and dug through her past tweets to cancel her. Apparently, they found a goldmine of racist and unsavory tweets on her X account.
She Recently Deactivated Her Account On X
Following the backlash from her offensive tweets from the past, Kayla Nicole has now deactivated her account on X. However, that doesn’t erase history, and much of black Twitter is quite unhappy with her, specifically for disrespecting Kobe Bryant’s wife.
The internet was ready to defend the legend’s widow at all costs, as they were shocked to find the unsavory tweets from her. We’re sure that Travis Kelce might be smiling, knowing that he distanced himself from her after their relationship ended.
