Kai Cenat Is Dealing With Tons Of Hate For His Decision To Focus On Fashion. He Revealed How He Turns Them Into Fuel

Kai Cenat finds motivation from negativity.

Kai Cenat spent the better part of the decade building one of the most successful careers on Twitch. He is currently the most followed streamer with nearly 20 million followers. However, this year, he decided to step away from the spotlight for a little bit to not only focus on his mental health but also explore other ventures, particularly fashion. While this decision was the best for him personally, it was clear that his millions of followers didn’t see it that way.

In January, Cenat sent his fans into a frenzy after announcing that he would be quitting streaming for good. He made the announcement in a video he posted on YouTube with the title, “I Quit.” The video featured Cenat discussing his mental state, sharing his reflections on his career and being vulnerable. Beyond that, he also officially launched Vivet, his clothing brand. Since then, people have expressed doubt and hate in his new endeavor.

As reported by The Daily Dot, Cenat revealed that he will not let this negativity drown him. Instead, he is channelling it into elevating Vivet and becoming productive. For him, their hate is his motivation. In a new YouTube video he posted this March, he revealed that he set up a “hate wall’ in the centuries-old villa he has been working in Italy. There, he plastered hate comments that only strengthened his resolve and drive to thrive in his new passion.

Cenat Is Weaponizing Hate

As a streamer, Cenat has grown accustomed to hate and negativity online. He has learned that he can never meet all of his fans’ expectations. Some are happy with his content, while others are not. With Vivet, he sees no difference. Only this time, he can turn this toxicity into fuel and embrace it wholeheartedly through his wall of hate.

“I want to show you guys the power to embrace hate. Embracing hate, you guys can find ways to weaponize it. I used to struggle with caring about what people thought, so I got a hate wall of all the hate that I received to motivate me even more, embrace my flaws, and find ways to make amazing things,” he said.

As of writing, Vivet’s official Instagram account has over 260k followers. The brand is still in the early development stages. Meanwhile, Cenat, who once impressed a billionaire, has been giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at Vivet’s journey through videos and public appearances, documenting his time in Italy learning about design and production while sharing the creative process. His other videos featured him having a tour of Tony Parker’s house.
