July Daily Moments Program Includes Diamond Sandoval, Evolution Nelson Cruz and Whitey Ford

We have settled into a rhythm here with the Daily Moments program. Much like June and the month prior, you’re getting two evolution players and one intriguing diamond. The 25 point reward is Milestone Pablo Sandoval. The two evolution players are Nelson Cruz and Whitey Ford.

Objectives

The points system for the July Daily Moments program can look a little odd because you’re chasing certain checkpoints that don’t seem attainable on the first of the month. As of now, there are more points than days in the month. However, you need to realize sometimes a daily mission will be worth two points rather than one, which is why there are more than 30 points in the program. Regardless, you should be able to snag all the biggest rewards by logging in and doing the daily mission a majority of the time.

Soooo, who did y'all pick first?

I'm going to go with Ford. Looks like Cruz will be a TA3 reward, rendering that rewards card a bit moot (heck, I may not even bother with the evo program for him unless I desperately need another rewards card for future collections).

Cruz, partly because I just wanted it out of the way first and partly because I might be able to use him as a bench bat in the moonshot event vs lefties. Those two rookie card moments are pain though - just pray you get one down the middle and power swing early. By contrast I don't think the Awards card moments will be that tough since that card mashes, despite there being a pair of 5-game moments in there.
I get those moments done and all I have to do to complete the program is hit HR's with RF, and Rookie Cruz never has to see my lineup in an actual game.
Took Ford for a couple reasons. Mentioned in the other thread but I had a good deal of success with Ford on HoF in 2019 so I'm very interested in seeing how he is with Pinpoint. Also, I typically find pitching moments to be less annoying and usually quicker so I just knocked his out first.
I'll be tempted to try him out in Ranked whenever I play but he doesn't have the same upside on All-Star as Valenzuela or even Maddux, IMO. So he'll be stashed for a while until I get to that point. Or if they run an Event anytime soon he's eligible for on Hall of Fame I'll definitely be playing just to try him there.
Took Cruz, ran through the program quickly. Skipped one of the multi game moments, the one that’s not the 20TB. Didn’t take too long at all.
