Is Torrie Wilson in WWE 2K25?

One of the top female stars from WWE’s Ruthless Aggression Era, Torrie Wilson was a perennial star for WWE in the early-to-mid 2000s. Despite never winning a championship during her professional career — due in large part to her being on SmackDown at a time when the brand had no women’s championship — Wilson became a popular star with the company and even featured on the cover of a certain magazine not once, but twice.

Because of her popularity and recent induction into WWE’s Hall of Fame, many WWE 2K players have expected her to be a part of the series’ most recent entry, WWE 2K25. But is the Hall of Famer included in the game?

Torrie Wilson Isn’t In WWE 2K25

For one reason or another, Torrie Wilson isn’t in WWE 2K25. And it’s not like she’s persona non grata in WWE or anything. Since being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019, Wilson has made sporadic appearances for the promotion, the most recent being with Mickie James during the 2024 WWE Draft. And she’s a beloved figure in WWE history, so it’s not like she wouldn’t be a welcome addition.

Of course, we can only speculate about why Torrie Wilson isn’t in WWE 2K25. The most logical of reasons would be the same reason other historical figures in WWE lore aren’t included in the game — money.

WWE pays anyone involved in their yearly video game residuals for the inclusion of their likeness. WWE’s unwillingness to pay such royalties has led to several historical figures in WWE not being included, or having their faces blurred out in archival footage shown in WWE 2K games. Such examples include former referees Mike Chioda and Earl Hebner, and even Vince McMahon himself after he was ousted from the company due to multiple scandals prior to the release of WWE 2K24.

Obviously, Torrie Wilson doesn’t have a controversial past, nor is there any rumored animosity between her and WWE. So the reason she isn’t featured in WWE 2K25 likely comes down to WWE and/or 2K not finding the juice being worth the squeeze as it pertains to her inclusion. For now, at least.
