iRacing Arcade is set to officially release on Steam Tuesday, March 3. The arcade-style racer from iRacing Studios and Original Fire Games will be priced at $24.99 with a console version planned for PlayStation and Xbox later this summer.
At the center of the experience is a deep career mode that starts players at the grassroots level of road racing before working up to top, including the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship GTP class and the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup. The game leans into a colorful, approachable art style while still keeping touches of realism like fuel burn and tire wear. Races take place on compact versions of well-known circuits like Imola, Mexico City and Miami, along with the studio’s takes on Bahrain International Circuit and Kyalami Circuit.
Away from the track, players can build out a customizable motorsports campus featuring garages, engine and chassis shops, along with R&D facilities that unlock race-day boosts. Team management plays a role as well, allowing multiple series to be run at once with hired drivers helping keep everything competitive. For anyone who wants to jump in early, the free Steam demo with the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup at Tsukuba Circuit is still available to download and play.
