Logan Paul has addressed the rumors surrounding his ban from Japan after his major controversy in the country. Before Paul became the co-founder of Prime or started competing in the WWE, he was part of one of the biggest YouTube media scandals of all time.
Paul had gotten himself in huge trouble back in 2017 in Japan. There was much speculation that he would now be unable to enter the Land of the Rising Sun. The rumor had been so viral that a Belfast crowd at Monday Night RAW chanted ‘He’s banned from Japan’ loudly at him.
The scene occurred during his match alongside The Vision against Rey Mysterio, Penta, and Dragone Lee on RAW. He’s now setting the record straight and claims that he’s not banned from the country. The Maverick recently posted a vlog over on YouTube where he decided to clear the air about his travel status to Japan.
Bro, I’m not even banned from Japan, like officially, like in an official way. How did a room full of absolute morons concoct such a brilliant chant? I’m not banned from Japan. What the f*ck, bro? I’m not. I’m actually not,” Paul said.
Paul Faced A Lot Of Backlash From Japan Controversy
Logan Paul caused a massive hate storm against himself after committing a foolish act in Japan back in 2017. Paul was known for his daily vlogs filled with zany energy and risky antics, which much of his audience loved.
However, he crossed a line during his stay in Japan almost nine years ago. Paul has infamously filmed a hanging body of a suicide victim after visiting the Aokigahara forest in December 2017. He decided to post the video directly on his YouTube channel and immediately started receiving backlash.
The Prime Hydration drink co-owner would apologize for his mistake. He stated that he had made a ‘severe lapse in his judgment’ and that he was deeply sorry for the incident. Much of the YouTube world blasted him for this act as he briefly went away for a break.
The World Still Reminds Paul About His Blunder
It seems that the world has not forgotten Logan Paul’s big mistake, which occurred in Japan in 2017. The WWE Universe recently let him know at Monday Night RAW that he shouldn’t forget his past anytime soon.
Paul is playing a heel character on TV, and the heat works for him in some cases. However, in this situation, it looks as if there is a large audience who wants him to know that they still remember the person he was back then.
