LeBron took over in the clutch and put on a show

But Sunday belonged to LeBron. He turned back the clock in the fourth quarter, scoring 10 straight points for the Lakers when it mattered most. With 27.4 seconds left, he hit a shot that put Los Angeles up 110-105. After making it, James walked down the court doing his silencer and crown celebrations.

Luka Dončić called it a “vintage Bron” performance. James finished with 29 points, seven rebounds, and six assists. This was his first game after his incredible 18-year scoring record ended.

The win also meant something historic for James. He passed Robert Parish to move into second place on the NBA’s all-time wins list. Only Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is ahead of him now, by 59 wins. James continues to show he’s still one of the league’s best players, recently praising other rising stars across sports.

Lakers center Deandre Ayton couldn’t take his eyes off James during those final moments. “It was just me watching a movie,” Ayton said. “It was a GOAT moment. He had his moment, the fans felt him. He just let that marinate and the fans was loving it.”

Ayton said he was so locked in on watching LeBron that he stopped celebrating with his teammates. “I had stopped celebrating just to watch him so I don’t miss nothing,” he explained.
