In MLB The Show 26, Polo Grounds is an unlockable reward tied to the My Legacy program inside Diamond Dynasty. In order to unlock it, you no longer need to collect a bunch of historic stadiums or win random challenges; instead, you need to record at least 30 triples instead of last year’s 15-triple threshold.

The good news is that triples from every game mode count towards the progress, including standard single-player, Road to The Show, Diamond Dynasty, Live The Moments, etc, as long as it’s a full simulation-style game.

Once you complete the 30-triples objective, the Polo Grounds automatically drops into your stadiums collection

How To Access And Track The Triples Program

Hop into the main menu of Diamond Dynasty, head to Programs, then Assorted Programs, then My Legacy. Then, inside My Legacy, scroll down to “Triples”, where you can track how many triples you’ve already hit and how many are needed for each star tier.

Best Ways To Grind 30 Triples

Triples are not easy to pull off, but some strategies can make it so much easier.

Build a quick, speedy lineup. Slot in players with high sprint speed and decent gap power, not just home run sluggers. You need a team built around fast, gap-hitting batters (BA/SLG profiles that favor doubles and triples over home runs). Outfielders and typical leadoff hitters are usually your best bet to rack up triples consistently.

Your stadium choice matters, so play in massive ballparks with large gaps, much like stadiums Coors Field and Comerica Park, though Coors will often reward hard contact with a home run. Remember, the bigger the outfield, the more likely it is that your hits turn into triples instead of doubles or a homerun straight up.

You can always lower the difficulty if you find yourself stuck at any point. Use a lower-pitching difficulty (e.g., All-Star or lower) to rack up triples faster. This lets you hit more balls into the gap without wasting time on every at-bat.

If you’re doing triples solely for the Polo Grounds, you can easily hit the requirement of 30 triples in a few focused sessions. The right team and stadium can really speed up the process.
