How to Unlock Masked Kane in WWE 2K25

As a monster heel, there are few as iconic and timeless as Kane. Having always been presented as an unstoppable force, the Kane character is an undeniable fan favorite amongst WWE fans. Because of his popularity, it’s no surprise that many WWE 2K25 players would want to play as him in the game.

But how do you unlock the masked version of Kane? And what variations of masked Kane are present in WWE 2K25? Here’s how to unlock him.

Masked Kane Is Available In The Purchasables Menu

Lucky for WWE 2K25 players, a masked variant of Kane isn’t very difficult to get and can be unlocked without having to purchase a DLC pack or Virtual Currency (VC). Instead, masked Kane can be bought using the WWE-branded currency you’ve earned from playing the game.

If you pre-ordered one of the special editions of the game and/or got the Supercharger, masked Kane will already be unlocked. If you didn’t, here’s where to find him:

• At the main menu, tab over to Extras
• Select Store
• Select Purchasables

All of the wrestlers in the Purchasables store are listed in alphabetical order, so finding Kane will be easy. Once you find him, you’ll notice he has two variations: A masked one from his final WWE run and an unmasked version from 2008. Needless to say, the former is the one you’re looking for.

Are There Other Masked Versions Of Kane In WWE 2K25?

While the in-game Purchasables allow you to unlock a masked version of Kane, it might not be the one some players are looking for. As mentioned previously, this version of masked Kane is more representative of the tail-end of his career. His 79 OVR rating reflects this as well. Instead, players might want Kane in either his original 1997 attire, his modified 2000/2001 attire, or the original half-mask he was donning in 2003 before shedding the mask entirely for a while.

The answer? Yes and no.

Outside of his unmasked 2008 version, there are no other versions of Kane available in WWE 2K25. Instead, buying Kane from the in-game store unlocks multiple variations of his mask that you can equip. Here’s how to do that:

• At the main menu, tab over to Creations
• Select Superstar
• Scroll down to Kane and select him

From here, you’ll be able to make a new outfit for Kane. To keep things simple, I copied the original attire to the empty second slot. When you go to change his mask, you’ll see that you can don Kane with any version of his mask that you think is better. After doing that, go to Upper Body and select the Outfit option. There, you will find multiple versions of Kane’s past outfits.
