Pokémon Champions works with Pokémon Home, so you can just use your favorite Pokémon from Home in Champions. The process is quite simple, but it can easily cause issues. So, here is a step-by-step guide on how to transfer Pokémon between Pokémon Home and Champions.
How To Transfer Pokémon From Home To Champions

There are two prerequisites for transferring Pokémon to the game. Firstly, make sure Pokémon Home is updated to the latest version, and ensure you are using the same Nintendo account for both Pokémon Home and Pokémon Champions.
Once that’s done, follow these steps to transfer Pokémon to Champions.
- Launch Pokémon Home
- In the Main Screen, click on Pokémon Champions. It will then ask for confirmation on the Nintendo account. Make sure you are on the right one.
- Then, you will have a view of your Pokedex, where you can select Pokémon.
- Not all Pokémon can be transfer the app will show you which can be transferred and which can not be.
- Choose the Pokémon you want and press “Y” on the Switch or the “Send For A Visit” button.
That’s half the steps done; now all you need to do is launch Pokémon Champions. Again, make sure you are using the correct Nintendo account.
Once you are in the game, go to Recruit, and then you will see the option for Collect from Pokémon Home. Click on that, and you are pretty much done. You can now go back to the main menu and go to “Box,” and you will see your Pokémon.
How To Transfer Pokémon From Champions To Home
When your Pokémon are in Pokémon Champions, you can’t use them for other games. So, if you want to send them back, here is how.
- Launch Pokémon Champions and click on Recruit on the main menu.
- In Recruit, just click on Send Back To Pokémon Home, click on it, and it will take you to a screen where you can select the Pokémon you want to send back. It will ask for account confirmation again.
- When you go back to Pokémon Home, you will see your Pokémon there.
