Evo Tools are one of the many new additions in PGA Tour 2K25. They are a part of the revamp that clubs and Fittings received in the game, and Evo Tools play into the new Evo Fittings item. Contrary to what some players believe, Evo Tools are not the same thing as Evo Fittings. The two go hand-in-hand, as you need an Evo Tool to use an Evo Fitting, but they are different items that you need to get separately in PGA Tour 2K25.
As Evo Tools are a new item, veterans and beginners must know how they work and how to get more. While there are various methods to acquire Evo Tools in 2K25, you won’t be swimming in them at any point, as they can be quite tricky. Below, we’ll go over acquiring Evo Tools in 2K25 and using them once you add a few to your account’s inventory.
Best Ways To Get Evo Tools In PGA Tour 2K25

Completing Quests In MyCareer
Far and away, the simplest and most frequent way to acquire Evo Tools in 2K25 is by completing daily and weekly quests in MyCareer. There are always quests to complete in MyCareer, and you’ll unlock more the more you progress in the mode. Of course, your reward for doing a quest won’t always be an Evo Tool, as they’re still quite rare to acquire even if you complete dozens of quests during a certain period.
When doing quests, try to perform as well as possible to maximize the rewards you earn in return. The better you do, the better rewards you get at the quest’s end. Players in 2K25 have reported that they’ve received a solid number of Evo Tools from the Wear It Wednesday quests in MyCareer and the Arnold Palmer Bay Hill quests. While your results will vary, these quests are a good place to start if you attempt to rattle off multiple quests in search of some Evo Tools.
The general rule of thumb is to participate in every possible quest you see pop up in MyCareer to have the best chance at earning Evo Tools and some other rewards in 2K25, such as new Fittings.
Clubhouse Pass

The next way to earn some Evo Tools is by progressing the Clubhouse Pass in PGA 2K25. The Clubhouse Pass features 100 tiers of content that you can acquire by playing the game and earning XP. The more you play, the more XP you earn; the more tiers you progress on the pass.
The Clubhouse Pass in 2K25 features a standard and a premium version. The premium version requires you to fork over some money, but it allows you to unlock all 100 tiers of content on the pass. If you go with the standard version, you won’t have access to as many tiers, but you’ll save some money. If you purchase the premium version, you can acquire a few Evo Tools to progress to the Clubhouse Pass to tier 100.
Browse The Superstore
The most costly way to acquire Evo Tools in PGA 2K25 is through the Superstore. The Superstore sells various in-game items, like new clubs, and Evo Tools are among the items on sale. The Evo Tools cost moderate VC, but you can only buy one Evo Tool per week from the Superstore.
This ensures players can forcibly buy Evo Tools daily and gain an unfair advantage. The developers bottleneck the process of acquiring Evo Tools through the store so players willing to spend extra VC don’t amass dozens of them too quickly. If you’re willing to spend some VC, though, you can return to the Superstore every week and purchase a single Evo Tool.
Play MyCareer
The final method of acquiring Evo Tools is simple: play MyCareer. Throughout your progression in MyCareer, you’ll be able to unlock various new items through several avenues. One of the items you can unlock sparingly is Evo Tools. Aside from completing quests, you can participate in tournaments, events, and other activities in MyCareer to earn rewards. Most of those rewards won’t be Evo Tools, but some will be.
How To Use Evo Tools In PGA Tour 2K25

Now that you understand all of the different methods to get Evo Tools in PGA 2K25, let’s talk about how to use them.
Before you can even think about using an Evo Tool, you need to fully max out a club’s level. This happens when you hit Sapphire level on a particular club.
When this happens, you can access the “Evo” slot on the club’s core progression, which you can see when entering your golf bag. The Evo slot can be fitted with an Evo Fitting, which is like regular Fittings but has enhanced qualities for your club and character. To use an Evo Fitting, you must first use an Evo Tool on the club.
After using an Evo Tool, you can equip an Evo Fitting on the club. However, this process destroys any other Fittings you previously had on the club, so it’s a permanent choice with some ramifications. Evo Fittings are generally better than Fittings, though, so when you hit max level with a club, that’s usually the route you want to take.
If you max out more clubs and have enough Evo Fittings to spare, you’ll continually need additional Evo Tools. Of course, if you stick with the same clubs, you can minimize your Evo Tool usage and worry about using different Evo Fittings on those clubs.
