With WWE 2K returning with its latest edition, a ton of new stuff has been added to the game. This includes the freshly introduced Island mode, where players can create custom wrestlers, participate in multiplayer matches, and have an online presence.
However, similar to NBA 2K25’s The City, The Island relies heavily on VC, the game’s virtual currency. From leveling up your player to buying cosmetic items, your entire Island presence is defined by how much VC you have. So, in this article, we’ll break down how to quickly earn VC and XP in WWE 2K25: The Island.
How to Farm VC in WWE 2K25
If you’re stuck with a low OVR player, the only way to change that is by farming VC. Here are the ways you can earn VC in WWE 2K25.
- Complete Roman’s Challenge: Before you hop onto the online stuff, there’s an offline story mode within The Island called Roman’s Challenge. Completing each match in the storyline awards you with VC, so make the most of it.
- Complete Match Actions: In each offline match you play, you’ll see match actions. Complete these to earn additional VC.
- Daily and Weekly Quests: The Island hosts regular daily and weekly quests. Participate in these events to make that extra bit of VC.
- XP and Rank Progression: Finally, as you progress through the online ranks and XP levels, you’ll be rewarded with VC. So, grind multiplayer 1v1s and rank up to get VC.
How to Farm XP
Similar to VC, XP can be earned by playing through the different modes of The Island. Basically, everything that we mentioned above earns you both VC and XP. Here are the amounts of XP you earn through each action:
- Completing Offline Matches: Rewards you with 1000+ XP.
- Completing Match Actions: Rewards you with 20 XP for each completed action.
- Completing Daily and Weekly Quests: Variable to the quest.
Also, keep in mind that as you progress through XP levels, you’ll unlock new cosmetics, banners, badge slots, and VC. However, the VC awarded through these XP points is pretty low, so it won’t get you to 100 OVR overnight.
While you can earn a good amount of XP by playing matches, VC is a different story. For every match you win, you’re awarded with 150 VC, and simple cosmetic items, like a coat for example, cost around 18000 VC. This means that the only way you can really make a difference in The Island is if you buy VC. That said, if you want to go no money spent, keep grinding the above methods till you stack up your VC bank.
