How to Change You Character's Appearance in WWE 2K25

Fresh threads!

There’s no way to sugarcoat it — professional wrestling is an image-centric entertainment medium. There are few areas in life in which one’s appearance and fashion choices mean more than in pro wrestling, especially in a company as big and far-reaching as WWE. It is also a vital aspect of establishing one’s character and telling the audience exactly who they are just by a glance. The developers of WWE 2K25 are well aware of this, hence why 2K25‘s creation suite is as expansive as it is.

Even after you’ve chosen an appearance, characters either change over time or give their look a bit of a change to keep things fresh. The same applies to WWE 2K25 players who may wish to change their character’s appearance after a while. And the process to do so is pretty simple.

For the sake of simplicity, this guide will strictly focus on custom superstars. But if you wish to change attire for existing WWE-licensed wrestlers, the process is more or less the same.

How To Change A Custom Superstar’s Appearance In WWE 2K25

For anyone who likes incorporating custom superstars into WWE 2K25, fine-tuning their appearance over time will be commonplace. To do this, the process is simple:

  • Go to the WWE 2K25 main menu
  • Tab over to Creations
  • Select Superstar
  • Tab to Custom Superstars (Male or Female) and select which one you’d like to edit

From there, you can customize whatever you please about your custom superstar’s appearance, be it their physical appearance or their attire. In the case of the latter, you will be given two attire slots, each complete with an in-ring appearance and one for entrances.

How To Change Your Superstar’s Appearance In MyRise

If you’re playing a MyRise save and need to adjust your appearance, the process to do so is just as simple. When backstage, press either the Y button on Xbox or the Triangle button on PlayStation to pull up the MyRise Hub Menu. At the bottom left of the menu will be an option that says Appearance. Select that, and you’ll pull up all of the options to adjust your appearance as you see fit.

New to MyRise in WWE 2K25 is the ability to select your casual outfit. This is essentially the attire that you’ll be wearing during cutscenes. To set this, I usually dedicate the second attire slot to it. Once you’ve made an appearance that you wish to use as your casual outfit, there should be an option to select it using the right analog stick on your controller — simply press it in, and that will be your casual/cutscene outfit. This is especially handy for anyone doing a save as a masked luchador and wishes to have a mask on at all times, even when lounging backstage.
