How to Change Movesets in WWE 2K25

Add to those Five Moves of Doom!

Wrestlers are defined by the moves they perform inside the ring. Just by looking at how they perform can tell almost everything there is to know about them and what kind of competitor they are. But maybe there’s a wrestler in WWE 2K25 — be it a licensed Superstar or a custom character you’re created — that you feel could do with some modification when it comes to their moveset.

Luckily for you, WWE 2K25 gives you the option to customize a wrestler’s moveset however you see fit. You can change everything from their big finishers to their grapple moves, all the way to how they enter or exit the ring.

How To Change A Wrestler’s Moveset In WWE 2K25

Changing a wrestler’s moveset in WWE 2K25 is a relatively simple and painless process. To access a wrestler’s moveset, do the following:

  • Got to the main menu for WWE 2K25
  • Tab over to Creations
  • Select Move-Set

Once you’ve done this, you’ll be able to select whichever Superstar whose moveset you’d like to modify. After you’ve selected a wrestler, you’ll be able to change every move they perform. And if you don’t wish to do this manually, you can always copy another wrestler’s moveset to theirs.

As an example, let’s say you want to change AJ Styles’ moveset to better reflect what he was doing during his tenure with TNA or New Japan Pro Wrestling, but don’t want to use the Community Creations version of AJ Styles you’ve downloaded to serve that purpose. Or say you want John Cena to finally add on to the “Five Moves of Doom” and become a straight workrate guy. Well, simply do the following:

  • Select Copy To Superstar
  • Then Copy From Custom Superstar

This same process can be done with wrestlers included in DLC packs, or from an existing Superstar included in the base game.

These are the basics of how to change a wrestler’s moveset in WWE 2K25.
