How to Change a Wrestler's Stats in WWE 2K25

We're gonna need you to give Oba Femi a bit of a boost.

What makes pro wrestling truly special is seeing how certain wrestlers evolve over time. We saw The Rock go from a loathed white-meat baby face to being one of the biggest box office stars pro wrestling has ever produced. We saw “Stone Cold” Steve Austin go from The Ringmaster to a rebel anti-hero. So, changing a wrestler’s attributes in WWE 2K25 could be a valuable tool for any players looking to show such progression in their own contained universe.

Luckily for them, WWE 2K25 does provide them with the ability to change a wrestler’s stats and attributes, allowing players to make existing Superstars either much stronger or much weaker than they already are. And here’s how to do it.

To change a wrestler’s stats and/or attributes in WWE 2K25, the process is quite simple.

  • Go to the main menu in WWE 2K25
  • Tab over to Extras
  • Select Roster
  • Choose which wrestler whose stats you’d like to alter

Once you’ve selected the wrestler you wish to modify, you’ll quickly notice that you can change virtually anything about them. But if you’re looking to change their attributes, simply select “Attributes” and modify the values to your liking. If you wish to give CM Punk a bit more agility, you can do that. If you want Rey Mysterio to cease being a high-flyer and resort to being more of a cagey underdog type, then you’re free to change that as well.

Attributes aren’t the only stats you can change in WWE 2K25, either. Should you wish to get more “inside baseball” with it, WWE 2K25 also allows players to change a wrestler’s AI tendencies for when they’re not being player-controlled.

The game also gives you an option to distribute their Hit Point Ratios differently. For anyone unaware, a wrestler’s Hit Point Ratio determines how strong one of their limbs is. Each wrestler is given 4000 Hit Point Ratio points that can be distributed to whatever values one would like. For instance, if you’re doing a Universe Mode save and are booking a story where a wrestler is dealing with a leg injury, then reducing the HPR on their legs is how you can represent that in-game.
