Football is an expressive sport by nature, and you’ll often find players doing choreographed celebrations on the field after a big play in the NFL. While Madden 25 doesn’t feature such elaborate celebrations, it fully allows players to showcase some moves during or after a touchdown, interception, or other game-changing play. However, the game doesn’t do a terrific job of explaining how to celebrate or all of the celebration options that are open to you.
Fortunately, today I’ll be walking you through the process of celebrating in Madden 25 as well as showcasing a list of every celebration that you can do.
How To Celebrate A Play In Madden 25

There are a few different types of celebrations that your player can perform in Madden 25. You can see all the different types and how to perform them below.
How To Celebrate In The Endzone
The most normal celebration is when you score a touchdown, and shortly after you enter the endzone, you’ll see a wheel appear at the bottom of your screen. This wheel features four different types of celebrations that you can perform, and you can select the one you want by using the right joystick on your controller. Just move the right stick in the direction of the celebration you want to perform, and your player will start celebrating in the endzone.
All Special Celebrations in Madden 25
Sometimes the celebrations involve other players on the team, but mostly, it’s just your player doing a series of moves or performing a classic football celebration, such as the spike. However, if you’re playing as a specific player in Madden 25, you’ll also get the chance to perform one of their special celebrations. These special celebrations are limited to certain players and mimic what their real-life counterparts do in the NFL.
For example, if you’re playing as Rob Gronkowski, you’ll also have the option to spike the ball as a celebration. However, as Aaron Rodgers, you can choose to celebrate using a champion’s belt. Here’s a list of every player who has a special celebration in Madden 25:
- Aaron Rodgers – Championship Belt
- Aldon Smith – Sack Swagger Dance
- Alfred Morris – Home Run Swing
- Antonio Brown – Bennie Biggle Wiggle
- Antonio Smith – Sword Fight
- Arian Foster – Disciplined Bow
- Cam Newton – Flip the Ball to Fans
- Cameron Wake – Super Flex
- Colin Kaepernick – Bicep Kiss
- Clay Matthews – Dirty Dancing
- Clay Matthews – Predator
- Deion Sanders – Primetime Dance

- J.J. Watt – Mock Clay Matthews Predator
- J.J. Watt – Finger Wag
- John Abraham – Got my Eyes on You
- Maurice Jones Drew – Touchdown Dance
- Marshawn Lynch – Skittles Rain Dance
- Michael Crabtree – Crabshake
- Patrick Willis – Flex Muscles
- Ray Rice – Flex his Bicep
- Robert Griffin III – Kneel and Point to the Sky
- Shaun Phillips – Bowling a Strike
- Stevan Ridley – Kick in the Door
- Victor Cruz – Full Salsa Dance
- Von Miller – Sack Swagger Dance
These special celebrations will always appear on the celebration wheel after you score a touchdown with one of these players, so you’ll never not have access to them.

How To Celebrate On The Way To The Endzone In Madden 25

The final form of celebration that’s available in Madden 25 is the showboat, which sees your player perform some moves as they are running down the field, usually into the endzone. Showboat celebrations are completely random, so there’s no way to pick and choose which ones your player performs.
Showboating is also extremely risky, as it slows your player down tremendously and puts them more at risk of fumbling the ball if they are tackled. As such, you only want to showboat if you’re sure no opposing player can reach you. Or, if you’re particularly skilled, you can use showboating as a form of juking in Madden 25.
Here’s how to showboat:
- While running down the field with your ball carrier, hold L2/LT
- While still holding L2/LT, press X/A to perform a showboat
- Continue to hold both buttons to keep the showboat going down the field
- The showboat stops after you enter the endzone, where you’ll then get the chance to perform a regular or special celebration, depending on your player
