Mattel and Milestone have announced Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged featuring all-new mechanics, environments, vehicle styles and game modes. The game is scheduled to release on October 19 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and The Epic Games Store.
Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged expands the racing experience with over 130 vehicles, including motorcycles and ATVs. Players can customize their driving style using skill points for specific perks and create their ideal custom build. Five distinct environments with unique racing surfaces add dynamic elements to matches. Racers can interact with objects on and off the track introducing unpredictability and shortcut opportunities. New abilities, such as dashing and jumping, along with drift and boost features will provide tactical advantages for overtaking opponents and discovering hidden track sections.
Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged introduces exciting new game modes for both online and offline play, offering a fresh and challenging experience. These modes include skill-testing events, drifting mastery, and crash avoidance. The beloved two-player split-screen mode returns for thrilling couch duels. Additionally, improvements like the ability to create parties with friends and cross-play functionality enhance the online multiplayer experience. The game will also feature a story-driven career mode featuring four unique characters. The enhanced Track Editor introduces new special modules and features, offering greater diversity in player-generated tracks. The Livery Editor receives an update with the addition of the Sticker Editor, enabling the creation, saving and sharing of original patterns and shapes.
