Giannis Antetokounmpo has gone off on his Milwaukee Bucks teammates following a tough season. We’ve seen the team get worse each week and were recently destroyed by the OKC Thunder in another 122-102 blowout loss.
The Bucks are in a dire spot after losing four out of their five games, and frustration is seemingly growing amongst the locker room. Antetokounmpo is seeing the state of his team, and he isn’t happy at all about how things are faring for them.
The Greek Freak finally let loose about the Bucks not getting their act together. Antetokounmpo didn’t hold anything back and laid out all the issues from his perspective contributing to the team’s disastrous season. He even decided to call out his teammates for playing selfishly on the basketball court and questioned their lack of chemistry.
“We’re not playing hard,” Antetokounmpo told reporters. “We’re not playing to win. We’re not playing together. Our chemistry’s not there. Guys are being selfish. Guys trying to do it on their own. Right now I think we just don’t get it. We got 39 games left, we don’t have time. We really don’t.”
Antetokounmpo Isn’t Happy With His Team
Giannis Antetokounmpo is unhappy with how his team has been playing every week. The Milwaukee Bucks had started the season on the right foot, after winning eight out of their first thirteen games. However, they lost all their momentum soon after and have yet to bounce back.
There also seems to be a lack of chemistry between the teammates, with much of the roster not stepping up. Much of their style of play looks hugely flawed as well. It seems that Antetokounmpo has assessed the situation fairly in his blunt assessment.
There’s been much speculation about the Greek Freak possibly cutting ties with the Bucks after this season. He seems pretty unhappy about his teammates’ lack of synergy and effort on the court. Many people are expecting Antetokounmpo to move on from the Bucks sooner rather than later as well.
Giannis Antetokounmpo Seems Done With The Bucks
The Milwaukee Bucks are struggling badly on the court, and Giannis Antetokounmpo can’t save them by himself. Many fans believe that he should move on from the team and take his talents elsewhere.
We’ve seen the Greek Freak consistently perform in each game. However, the recent game against the OKC Thunder saw him only attempt 11 shots. It seems this low number might have been a contributing factor for him to call out his teammate for playing selfish basketball. It seems like we might see him take his offensive power elsewhere, soon, from the looks of it.
