Formula Legends Late 2020s Car - Season Pack and Free Content Update Available

3DClouds recently dropped a major update for Formula Legends, continuing to build on the indie racer’s momentum since its launch last September. The game blends arcade-style accessibility with sim-inspired depth and has steadily grown its audience across PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo platforms, thanks to ongoing additions like new cars, steering wheel support and physics improvements. The update is available now on PC, PlayStation and Xbox with the Nintendo update arriving later this month to include both free content and a paid expansion.

The free update brings in a Late 2020s open-wheel car inspired by modern racing tech, adding new layers like battery management, boost usage and switching between low and high downforce modes. Players can take it into time trial and custom modes. It’s paired with a Late 1950s car and a new championship featuring era-specific teams, drivers and a reworked Temple of Speed circuit. The vintage setup leans into high-speed banking and a very different feel behind the wheel, offering a nice contrast between early motorsport and today’s technology. With these additions, the game now covers more than 70 years of open-wheel racing across 19 rule sets and 14 locations with 33 track configurations.

For those looking to dive deeper into the modern side, the Late 2020s Season Pack is available as a paid add-on. It includes seven teams, 14 drivers with unique helmets and 16 liveries, along with a dedicated championship mode and updated rules. The pack also adds the Azerbaijan circuit, mixing long straights with technical sections that really test energy management. 3DClouds is expected to keep supporting Formula Legends with more features and content as it approaches its one year anniversary with online multiplayer already in the works.
