Football Manager 26 Modders Deliver Major Breakthroughs

Things are coming together.

Modding is a big part of the Football Manager franchise. There is a big modding community behind these games that actively creates and manages mods for them. You can change up the UI, get new kits, new teams, and much more.

However, Football Manager 26 is new, and the modders are still working on some essential mods. But, recently FMScout X page announced that there have been breakthroughs made in mods related to FM26. For those unfamiliar, FMScout is one of the oldest services when it comes to Football Manager mods and skins.

The post mentioned three major announcements. Firstly, modders have managed to crack how to increase the UI speed so that it feels responsive and fast. They also managed to figure out how to change the background color in menus and worked on realistic new-gen faces for players.

For those unfamiliar, Newgens (or the correct term “Newgans”) are basically players and other characters (like staff) that the game generates. Football Manager 26 has real players, but it also generates players for the game as time goes on. The default faces for these characters are quite awful, so you often take the help of mods to make them better. It’s one of the most common mods in previous versions, and now it works in Football Manager 26 as well.

How To Download These Mods For Football Manager 26

The instructions and the download files are all available on the FMScout website. Here are the links for them. The Speed Patch and newgen faces are mods; the background color change is a guide.

FM26 has had a huge number of complaints since its release. From bad and sluggish UI to a bucket full of bugs. While the developers are working on fixes, we can use mods to help with these issues.
